  1. 39,000 Liverpool fans, in comparison to a below 2000 crowd? 39,000 should be making one hell of a noise.
  2. I just wanted to say how disappointed I was (again) with the lack of atmosphere from the Liverpool fans, even at 1-0 and 2-0 they weren't singing. Supposedly some of the countries best fans? I've heard better from Accrington Stanley. Also found this video, can hear the Latics fans' Oh when the Blues clearly during You'll Never Walk Alone. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTiJC2WUFj4 Still a good day out though - maybe i expected more. You'll Never Walk Alone looked good with the flags and scarfs though.
  3. A few started clapping in the Latics end. A few in the Liverpool. Applause gradually took over. What was the applause on about 23 minutes for?
  4. No wonder it took so long to queue for a piss. Arseholes. Haha!
  5. He was unlucky for the second goal, that block could have gone anywhere, shame it was in the back of the net. He'a pure class.
  6. LB is the priority now. Striker is also needed, wouldn't be sad to see Rooney leave either permanent or on loan - doesn't seem to want it enough for me.
  7. Tarkowski for me, even though he scored the OG he was unlucky! Looked class and they couldn't deal with him going forward. No-one had a particularly bad day though. Although, Rooney isn't a friggin winger!
  8. It just shows how we can watch the same game but form different opinions. Mellor was average, but that's comparing him to Liverpool who played well. He kept Sterling in his pocket for the first half, but got caught when he tired later on. We played well, but the difference in class was there to see today!
  9. JCH looked knackered. Harkin changed the game for the 10/15 minutes after he came on, made a good difference!
  10. Find it hard to see Dayton not playing. Worrall may well have to bide his time at the moment.
  11. I think this is the best time for an event like this. With the team not doing so well, it gives fans a chance to quiz LJ about what's gone wrong and see how far he recognises his own and the teams mistakes and faults. With three signings made and more to come, we'll also be able to get an insight into the reasoning behind them and see how they will work in the team. To me, this will give a more accurate portrayal than we get in the media, we'll get a more in depth view of how the manager is doing and what he is aiming to do from this point in the season.
  12. We're going to see a very different team to Wednesday I think.
  13. Depends if Wes is back. Although, Harkins would be probably be higher up the pecking order now... if we're getting smashed off the park, losing by a ridiculous amount, then stick Rodgers on for the sentiment.
  14. Needed defensive cover anyway, can't be expensive. Good move I reckon.
  15. You've picked up a good point in that they bring much needed experience into our young team. Hopefully their experience will come through on the pitch and they'll be able to grab a foothold in games and allow our younger players to come into fruition.
  16. From my Kilmarnock supporting friend... "This Harkins? He played for us in the same team as LJ. Very good with the ball. Lazy. As. :censored:. He'll blow hot and cold. Has the record for most nutmegs in a SPL game with us :)"
  17. Said to my cousin today, I either want to go there and win and/or see a good game (even if we get battered). Scoring a goal would be class to be honest, especially if it's first like last time.
  18. Bad Luck/Injury Problems/We're :censored:e/Didn't get the rub of the Green/Minds were on Liverpool/Bad Refs/The Weather/No Passion/Blame Dickov/Montano and his betting antics Delete as appropriate.
  19. No, let's sack the manager 5 months into his first season in management. Let's go round in the same circle of getting in a new manager and a brand new squad. Zzzzzzzzz. As others have said, it's a long-term project and anyone who thought we'd be challenging at the right end of table this year is extremely deluded. Teams take time to be built, look at Orient, Slades been there for 3 years (might be more) and things have finally come together and clicked properly now. No need to jump-the-gun, and i know Simon Corney won't do that!
  20. They're all the fecking same. MainStandStan RochdaleRoadRaymond ChaddyEndFred C*nts.
  21. I agree we are a better team this year. However, the lack of passion and guts is alarming to me. Even the :censored:test team can survive on passion, but the good team without it can often crumble. Big changes are needed.
  22. Wouldn't care less if some were dropped for Sunday. Passionless again.
