Neither team looked like they particularly wanted it or were bothered about the game. Side-ways and backwards passing is taking the piss though. Our best 15 Minutes of the game, around the time we scored, all came about through forward movement and good passing moves. We missed Dayton today, Mellor did his best on the left wing, but he's not a winger, simple as. Philliskirk near outstanding for me, never panics on the ball, moves and passes with confidence and finished his goal great. Shame about the penalty, but he hit it low and hard, like we're always told, so what can you do... Move on now, Brentford and Mansfield are two massive games. I think it does us a favour that our top players can't just get snapped up any time in the season. Like last season, we knew we were guaranteed to keep Jose at least until summer after the window shut in Jan. I think it adds some stability to football. Colchester at home any day of the week is usually dreadful haha! Always enjoyed Friday night games against Tranmere, pretty sure we played 2 or 3 of them a few years ago... Macclesfield also do Friday night games through-out the season, and it proves to generally attract more people through the gates.

Really hope they keep the RRE end open to home fans when it's built, unless the new stand has the same prices anyway. Unrestricted view and better leg room is what wins it over the Chaddy End for me. However, if we could have safe standing, i'd be in the Chaddy no doubt!

Old Trafford has always been the draw i've wanted. Getting one over the "old enemy" on their patch would be quality.

Hope the RRE end stays open to home fans when the new stand is opened. Somehow i doubt it though!
