I didn't think he played in a friendly but had been on trial training with us. I thought he went to Bury the day before the Stalybridge friendly. Anyway my mate who is a York fan says he's not good enough for this level. He also thinks Law is the messiah though! 3 goals from free kicks in pre season apparently. letheren played half a game for Bury conceded 3 and was sent packing.

Well they bought 2 keepers earlier in the month following ikeme's illness and they already have lonergan so it's not beyond the realms of possibility that they will be wanting him to move and gain experience

We were playing a decent side who cut through the centre of midfield at times and looked comfortable in the first half. first goal possibly off side in the build up. Super finish from 18 yards. Keeper might just have done better. I realised tonight that whichever keeper we get this year each goal conceded will come with the nagging doubt , would Ripley have saved it?
