  1. I too rated Inman at Crewe but had forgotten he'd gone to Peterborough. Whyte was impressive for Blackpool but wasn't He a right back and we still have plenty of them.i would expect Peterborough are intending to make big money out of maddison
  2. Wimbledon 0 v 0 Oldham (Half time 0-0) Attendance: 4850
  3. Good point well made but you might need a bigger hook
  4. yep but only in the first 3 months and last 2 months of the season. doesn't score a goal between November and March
  5. i think i got the correct letters but not necessarily in the correct order
  6. MK Dons have released quite a few. Possibly because they don't want to pay them what they want. Bowditch Martin and Potter would be of interest but doubtful we'd be able to meet their demands
  7. and the left back/wing back Ormond Ottweill. has caused mayhem against us for the past 2 seasons and hasn't been catching recently. Think he might have had a disciplinary issue with social media if i recall. Also George Thomas striker at Coventry. might be out of our league though (metaphorically as well as literally)
  8. Aw bless. I'm glad they weren't facing the pitch to see their own side get absolutely battered.
  9. Steve Eyre just asked what does Darren Pratley actually do. Bolton stepping it up now.fancy Phil more involved
  10. 2/3 of their home support? Not too shabby although half of them probably don't go to home games and have just gone for the occasion tonight.
  11. Moi aussi Singe, as they say down Bury market. I have a mate who is a shaker and he talks more bollocks than I do. When they win they were brilliant, when they draw they were dead unlucky and when they lose they were dead unlucky and robbed by a bent ref. They have never been off par or beaten by the better team. In every game they should have had no fewer than 2 penalties. Every Bury player who has ever remotely shown some promise was going to pay for England, Pugh, Worrall, Porter, Lucketti to name but a few. Plus I can give him some real grief over the summer if they go down. And he thinks Lee Clark is a good manger
  12. Back up big lads are a scarce commodity as Bolton have found out when Madine has got injured. That is unless you are Sheff U with Clarke, Sharp and Hanson. No wonder they won the league. Most teams in it couldn't have afforded one of those let alone all 3.
  13. To put it another way four teams below us who have been struggling to make a point a game all season will have to take 19 points from their next 10 games for us to go down. 6 of which are against teams in the top 6 . Again at the risk of being a hostage to fortune, Town hall steps arse time.
  14. Yes but a difference there was that palace had only to be overtaken by us to go down. Vale could get 7 points and we could still be safe because another 3 would have to over take us including Bury who would need 5 from 3 games. At the risk of playing hostage to fortune I think we are safe.
  15. I would love Birmingham to go down after the way the treated Rowett. Zola is in the financially privileged position where he can just walk away and not even take responsibilty by fighting to the end. He has destroyed that team in half a season.
  16. Gillingham losing 2-0 Shrewsbury losing 1-0 Vale losing 1-0 Swindon drawing ☺
  17. And as it is the only time this season that I have chosen the correct first scorer then there would have been trouble if he hadn't been given it whether it was in the chaddy end when he kicked it or not.
  18. Those three games last year were brilliant. The game would end and you'd think yes! We've won and we are closer to staying up. Then just as you were walking past the bogs you'd think , bloody hell I've just got £50! And then off to the pub?
  19. It's the first time I've seen them this season and I was amazed at how bloody big they are. We played two big strikers against them and got nowhere until the sending off when Obeydayi went up front. He. Was quick and agile and scared the bejesus out of the land of the giants at the back. Vaughan might do the same. We got lucky at the end but had as many chances as them. Also they had no madine and le fondre was on his own. Morais was there main threat and you could do with softening him up earlier then we did. Hopefully for you vale will continue to be desperate and you'll beat Northampton . For your sake I hope you don't need anything against Southend .
