    We are Oldham fans and watch them every week. When I use the word class it's usually relative to what I saw the week before or even 5 minutes before. I am not comparing with Beckenbauer Cruyff or McVitie.

    Wouldn't think that we could afford both but we do need some experience in there. My guess would be that we won't be able to afford either.

    I'd be surprised and a little disappointed if we didn't have another 3 or 4 in by then because from his 5 signings so far I would think 3 at most would be starters on the opening day added to 2 already here . But it has to be an opportunity for the trialists so expect lots of them. I remember watching Sidney schmeltz at curzon 2 or 3 years ago and thinking why did the RAWS buy Ronaldo Hey ho. Shows what I know and the hunger of a player in search of a contract.

    I think you're thinking of the big black right back they had on loan from Bolton Haydn White who was very impressive. he's signed for someone from Bolton but i can't remember who

    I remember him playing a few games for Accrington once he left us but not heard of him since. What's he been up to?

    released at end of the season. I don't remember noticing him against us so checked. More or less ever present then didn't play again after end of Feb so missed both games against us. There is also a David Ferguson 20 yo defender at Motherwell. Could be room for some confusion and it could be him but he has just signed 1 year contract

    Yeovil at home first game of the season in Ronnies first full season I think, about ten years ago. Possibly Chris Day,Liddell,Warne,wellens,rob Scott, possibly Butcher and Forbes. Just checked.August 2005. The above all started plus Porter and Johnson played for Yeovil
