    I said the same after the Blackpool win. Half an hour after we beat Sheffield Wednesday to go up in 1991 it suddenly dawned on me that I had betting slips adding up to £180 in my back pocket that I'd bet on as the season progressed. It was the first time I'd thought of it. Was a bonus!

    Thanks Andy . Pleased with the boys performance Satuturday, grinding out a result away at the league leaders. Could be a leveller back at our place,cramped ground, crowd close to the pitch and uneven surface, southern Jessies might not like it up 'em on a cowd Owdham neet, you know how it is.Mind you I'll have to remember to put a prediction in which has proved tricky in the past.

    I was there,very unwell, and had no idea if it was in or not. Seen footage of it for the first time tonight and cant believe how far over the line it was - it hit the post on the way back out!!! What I do remember from that time is how well known it was that Joe Worrall (Salford) was a united fan and if you see his positioning, it's perfect and his reaction to signal no goal is just a little too quick in my opinion. Glory days.

    They did last time and I'm sure any possible new owners would do the same. There would be 2 main points1. Start a new venture by deliberately pissing off over half your customers - not good business sense 2. Expect people who have forked out £350 to do the same Again 3months letter - it's not going to happen. People who couldn't do without latics would make do with just going away instead like they would have done anyway
