  1. Courteeners were excellent last night. Just watched the Macabees also very good.. Going to latitude in a couple of weeks with my kids, band called the districts on who I've never heard of, watched them last might and was impressed.looking forward to the Staves tomorrow and think the Who will smash it. Shame about the Libertines......
  2. Yep me tooI obviously see games differently than the majority of people on here but my 5 of your English pounds goes to player share if any latics centre forward scores more goals than him next season. I also can't remember the view on here when he left last season being that he was so crap. However I am getting old and senile
  3. I think it very unlikely you'll tell me this but 1) how did you know this, and 2) why didn't you enlighten us all in January? Thank you
  4. pretty sure one of them was a young centre half from Forest. Wasn't a deal almost done for him to come on loan here and then suddenly he got into their first team and stayed?
  5. Have they had their bids for Bale and Ronaldo accepted yet?
  6. We requested the very same in 91/92 so that the new Chaddy end would be finished. Loads of other teams have done it Wouldn't be In the least surprised.
  7. Saunders appointed which seems a risk. Has he done anything anywhere he has been? Paul Cook to Pompey is very interesting, lower division but 'massive club' underachieving year after year. Budget must be huge so will keep an eye on them next year.
  8. Oops just read some of the other threads on here I'll try and pay more attention.
  9. The BBC is reporting he has received a death threat from Latics fans. Did he reveal this tonight on BBC Manchester?
  10. Yep, thanks to everyone , Esp Bristol latic for organising this my first year and I've really enjoyed it. I shall be asking Mr Corney for a fIrst half only season ticket. See you all next year. COYB
  11. I know this won't go down well with some folk on here but I'm listening to Radio 5 and it's Radio Bournemouth/Claridge tonight. They are up already, you won't find a pitch like this anywhere in the world and they play the right way, beautiful place to live,Eddie Howe who has lived here all his life ( they must have moved Burnley) Come on Wanderers!
  12. The plain, chubby little sister lives down the bottom of our road. She's no longer plain or chubby.
  13. Several options including sadler Gerrard forte and brown but went for turner as putting the ball in the onion bag makes winning games easier added to a cracking all round performance.
  14. Oi you, don't you come on here spoiling good arguments with facts!
