    ‘Gary from Oldham’ just rang Northampton, seems they are dragging their feet to see if Northampton fans want them. I don’t think they have even discussed it with the police as yet. They are going to ring him back about 3pm after the safety officer has finished his assessment. They have cancelled a ‘around 20 tickets’ from ‘none local addresses’ so those of you who tried that may have failed.

    I like Barton. However, his recent short spell at Rangers does highlight the possibility he is not quite ready to be in charge of players of a lesser calibre. Unless he has learned from the afforementioned short spell, of course.
