our chairman at the time was literally the FA Man so maybe thats why he went big and early on it. in my mind Boundary Park at the time was about 20% seated so it must have all been rather expensive. if you could magically transport modern hilsboro onto history but do every thing else the same then more would have died. thats not to say that Football stadiums were not crumbling death traps, because they were. but imagine trying to overcram thousands of people into a seated area all at once by opening the gates and truncheoning people thru? jeez.

lm not having it that our fate can in any way be positively affected by some bobbins division five match on a wet night in january. lm always looking for positives and unless its a bangin player on a free, there arent any at.. lve genuinely forgot who the two teams even were. in all certainties this will be something alien to you and probably the same sort of mindset which means lve looked at the leage table once this season. and when l did finally look, l looked at league two by accident!! strange might be a stretch, but l understand it.

yeah and l'm in the national league thread aswell still, meh. we all play the same number of matches and we are just over halfway thru. l'm all for analytics and showing (a bit) of respect now and then, but games involving shitpot conference clubs in january do not have positive outcomes for us. unless its sumat like we play them in two weeks and their best player turned his ankle on an unharvested potato near the corner flag. condoloences to all concerned if that actually happened.
