  1. Yeah i sort of learned about the price of taxis for one person when going to Heathrow £20 for a 2 mile journey. Anyway Zorro route looks the best idea.
  2. I thought it was just engineering work and not a strike, as i mentioned if there is enough Oldham fans maybe the oasis lads can recommend a decent taxi firm and all chip in. Am looking at going from Fenchurch street to Dagenham Dock, use to be boozer near by called the Minories.
  3. Plus that extra to see in Exeter of course you get your normal boozers such as Yates and Weatherspoons which has to be one of the biggest in uk opposite the train station but by the catheral or ruins whichever it was there was some nice cafes and other pubs also.
  4. If i could attend all the midweek games and not have to work believe me i would buy a season ticket (only work part time) also apart from mid week games only missed on Saturday match last season. I aint season ticket holders should not have there perks i just believe those supporters who travel up and down the country getting behind the team especially under Penny should also be rewarded have some sort of loyality scheme. Remember quite a few of the lads who have been to most away games this season are also based in the South and not for all reasons can make it up here.
  5. Hang on maybe work commitments mean that having a season ticket means i would miss out on quite a few home games mid week.
  6. Same train as me Prozac are you going back on that one mate? if so i know my nephew maybe interested if i can get back to you.
  7. You think short local trip saturday afternoon wont sell out being such a small allocation, quiet alot of people still rate the FA cup and being few local Away games people will be keen to get to this one inlcuding fans i have known who do not get to many away games as often they like to
  8. Still think there should be some scheme to reward away supporters who travel to every game i only missed scunny away so far.
  9. Only 1,517 cash points around the ground as a non season ticket holder who has only missed one away game all season whats the odds i wont get a ticket for this one. http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/page/NewsU...2197543,00.html
  10. They once boycotted a game at curzon because it was on tv. I feel sorry for the decent non league sides ones who spent years desperate to get into the competiton but knocked back in favour of some fans who threw there dummies out.
  11. Suppose it depends who Blackburn play remember a few seasons back there was something in there local newspaper about Accy wanting all there homes on the weekend when Burnley where away as some Burnley fans had season tickets for both clubs.
  12. I suggest Exeter myself decent boozers, ground fairly central to the city centre as it the near by rail station. Ground has standing and marquees.
  13. If there is enough Oldham fans share a taxi even.
  14. AGREE with what you said i was thinking when it was was 1-1 do we risk going 4-3-3 or 3-5-2 however Southampton looked dangerous in attack and hit the post just before we scored. Have to sad Feeney looks short of pace ans fitness at the moment. Only time he has stood out for me is when he came off the bench against Charlton on the wing.
  15. Pretty sure FA cup rules state clubs get a bigger allocation.
  16. Where does it mention on that article about him being 19?
  17. Maybe the club can start putting club ticket news on earlier also.
  18. In pre season games against Barrow and Falkirk Lomax looked alright and played more of an attacking midfield role. However him going out loan is best for the lad.
  19. Hardy retiring more chance of Fergie walking out on United. I would put me money on it being a steward or even chaddy or some long time staff member employed by the club. Proberly the tea lady to be replaced by a brand new hot drinks machine.
  20. Could be worth keeping an eye on this. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-bristol-11327713 Bristol City FC stadium town green application backed Continue reading the main story Ashton Vale About 200 people backed the bid to prevent new development on the site * Have your say: Ashton Vale plans Bristol City FC's plans for a new £92m stadium have received a blow after a planning inspector supported a move to declare the site a "town green". About 200 people backed the legal bid to prevent new development on the 42-acre site in Ashton Vale, close to the the club's current Ashton Gate ground. An independent inspector concluded the whole site met the legal requirements and said status should be granted. The final decision now rests with Bristol City Council. The authority has already approved the planning application for the stadium. Land can be registered as a town or village green under the Inclosure Act 1857 and Commons Act 1876. Applicants have to prove the site has been freely used for recreational purposes for 20 years or more. World Cup A 10-day inquiry into the application opened in May at the council house. Town green status would also put an end to the possibility of Bristol hosting World Cup games in 2018. Bristol City FC's chief executive Colin Sexstone said they were "naturally disappointed" by the report. "We always knew that prizes on the scale of a new regional stadium and a World Cup were never going to fall into our lap - the most ambitious and visionary projects never do - but we remain utterly determined to get there," he said. A spokesman for Ashton Vale Heritage Group said town green status would protect the land for future generations. "Local residents have been protecting these fields and fighting development of this site for more than 40 years," he said. "If we have achieved town green status, then we hope once and for all we can be free of the anxiety and stress we have endured for the last two years." 'Highly damaging' Councillor Simon Cook, deputy leader of the city council, said he was "shocked and disappointed" by the inspector's decision. He said: "The new stadium, a possible arena, redevelopment of Ashton Gate and Bristol's World Cup Host City status are at serious risk. "This amounts to around £150m worth of investment, promising at least 1,000 extra full and part-time jobs and thousands of construction jobs. "It also means we risk losing the economic impact of hosting the World Cup amounting to possibly £150m. "It would be devastating to the regeneration of south Bristol and highly damaging to the image of the city." He said the authority was "determined to chart a positive way forward", so the interests of people having an open space to walk their dogs were balanced with "the wider economic benefits". The inspector's conclusion will be considered by the council's public rights of way committee in due course.
  21. Maybe the forum should be done on a match day or during the mid week at a central location which is easy for all supporters to access to.
