I hope so its known fact that Mary Dees pub next to Eastlands shows all City games home and away on one of these overseas channels. However against Bristol Rovers there where 2 city fans in the chaddy one with Dickov on the back, if that money helps us sign a decent player or keeps the club going i am prepared to play ball not saying i approve of it just being realistic.

I know people may laugh but i have heard one or two older supporters stopped coming to the came when the club first introduced a smoking ban (before it became a law) i do not smoke it seems while are club is doing well to bring alot of familes and younger supporters in i feelmaybe we have pushed some of the older supporters away. When i was younger i can remember coming to the ground with my Dad, my older Brother and then my Neighbour. Easy thing was there use to be a special football bus mainly it was full of OAPS who could go get a drink at the Clayton Arms. The club is right to issue vouchers to schools, clubs but maybe we should hand them out to nursing homes, residental homes and look at maybe putting on special buses again if there is demand there. £4.10 DAYSAVER is a rip off but thats not the clubs fault but maybe if one of the smaller companies like Stotts could run a bus from Oldham, Rochdale, £2.50 return or something bring fans to and from the games leaving a set times.

Agreed Oldham Athletic is a big part of my life although not everything revolves around it. Some of my best mates are people i have met thru watching Latics. I enjoy my away trips yes i could watch results in the pub on Sky Sports news and on TV but i get angry and annoyed at not being there. However it does not mean i have to agree with the club policies or the people that run it? i can also fully understand reasons why fans have stopped going and most cases agree. However its down to each individual at the end of the day.

Think the bring a friend for a fiver is a great idea for ST holders however just think with the weather being like this and to be fair most ST holders will proberly pay for one of there mates who pays on the day to get in will not see a big improvement. But its a start.
