  8. Lets hope this does not become Yank gate or some PR Embarrassment. Having just read the closed thread further down it seems while most fans have welcome these girls with open arms others have been a bit cautious. I myself at first thought it was a bit odd these two girls wanted to follow Oldham and wondered if it was some PR stunt or trick way of getting into the reality TV circuit. However from there status updates on Facebook and having spoke to them i was impressed and thought this is good publicity for the club. However for all we know Worthington and his missus may have had issues and if them being allowed in the players dressing room had upset the players mentality or risked causing unbalance for the match costing us points then the club gets back my backing and should of explained to the young ladies that they would be more than welcome after the game that ended into the players lounge. At the same time it is disappointment to fly all that way and discover the club wont be laying out the red carpet or providing tickets and all as Diego said is awful then the girls have a right to be angry. I was stood very close to the players lounge on Sat before the game and thought i could hear some female American accents but could not be to sure. I doubt the club will bother to make any sort of comment and i have yet to see any sort of mention of them the girls at any stage since there video on the clubs main site. Best we can do is rely what is posted on the web. Strange all this reminds of when that female Latics fan from Manchester JetDD i think she was called joined Jklatics.
  9. Would not work for the simple fact the FA has that 3pm rule and i suppose each club will want to alternate kicks off to draw there own viewers.

  13. Close to being wound up although there refusing to give up the fight. http://www.pinkun.com/content/pinkun/kings...3A10%3A32%3A750 King's Lynn Football Club is wound up in the High Court PADDY DAVITT Last updated: 25/11/2009 20:46:00 King's Lynn football club has less than a week to overturn the High Court's decision to wind up the debt-ridden Unibond Premier Division outfit. Norfolk's biggest non-league club can apply to rescind the compulsory winding-up petition, if they clear a £67,000 tax debt owed to Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC). However, Linnets' chairman Ken Bobbins admitted that the current board were unlikely to settle the five-figure sum with the club's total debt believed to be in excess of £150,000.
  14. http://www.oldham-chronicle.co.uk/news-fea...tion-is-swamped POLICE were called as passengers swamped a packed train from Manchester Victoria after a concert at the adjoining Arena last night. They ordered the crowds back from the 10.20pm service to Leeds, via Mills Hill, just as fans poured out of the Arena where popular comic Michael McIntyre had been performing. The crush was made worse by the increased demand caused by the closure of the Oldham loop line and work on platform two of the station which has been cordoned-off by metal barriers. Security guards kept crowds back in the foyer of the station until the train arrived. But the two carriages quickly filled up and police had to step in to prevent people trying to force their way on board. About 100 passengers were forced to wait for the last train of the night, an hour later.
