    A few years back on TV David Gill of United said whenever they played a lower league team in either the FA cup or Carling cup all lower league clubs wanted United to charge full matchday prices knowing there would still be 40,000+ meaning a nice profit for the smaller team. End of the day Money and greed took over football a very long time ago and even if we go up i still think fans will stay away because of the high prices.

    No chance of this game being on TV there is atleast 5 more ties that could be selected ahead of us.

    He was good in his day a superb striker and if he had stayed fit would of scored more goals. However when he said he wanted to play abroad as the league was not so physical. Still if he can bang the goals in but not at this level.

    Anyone had any luck booking advance tickets. Seems they will only accept booking if you go via Sheffield and you end up back in manchester 11.40 despite earlier services between Southend-London plus Euston and Manchester.

    Rugby League only use it to generate interest. It works in there game but not in football.

    I was in the RRE on sat four rows from the top nearer to where the lookers was. Two guys slated the team from start to finish yes we plated bad but these guys refused to shut up. One was an old guy the other was a bald headed guy with a Chaddy end jacket on. Sort of supporters we do not need.

    To be honest the play offs where only brought in because the football league wanted to see bigger clubs in higher divisions and therefore wanted to see say a team like Leeds or City, Sheff Weds a few years back another way to win promotion.

    Typical TV they go for the bigger clubs same with Forest. I would of put money on Leeds or Leicester being shown if they had been away.

    When we lost in the Carling cup a few years back we sang small town in Yorkshire, they took it nasty.

    How long as Phil Woolas been an MP for now? i suspect he his one of those Labour MP they only give him a top job to shut him up. How many years has he spent making the coffee and cleaning the floors for his fellow peers?

    End of day its down to peoples opinon still think Maher would be better at the back. Davies likes to run at players with all his turns and fancy skills however last two games the strikers have had poor service hence the reason i suggested playing him on the wing. Stephens said for a long time he should be given a chance however i think its time Hazell was on the bench may give him the give up the a*se he needs.

    To be honest i wanted a Non League side the magic of the cup going to a unknown ground in front of a small crowd, Playing against players who will make it tough, raise there game but in the end we get through. Personally Cheltenham is just like another League 1 game to myself. However we seemed to have got over the old Cheltenham being a bogey team (think it was 5 matches but before we finally beat them) and should get us a safe passage into the second round.
