  1. Talk on twitter of a mystery striker playing for us on trial.
  2. Few of us still went down on Boxing Day for the night. It's a ok pub but found it quite pricy. Free mince pies where nice.
  3. Been told that myself remember last time we played them police where quick after the game to move everyone on.
  4. Some people will have seen on Facebook and mentions on twitter about a protest group which was planned. The day we played Swindon, one of the fans behind it and 3 other Oldham fans where invited to a meeting with Simon Brooke and Another trust representative to express there concerns. Another planned meeting has not happened which had been mentioned before the Tarky Sell on clause. These fans made the effort to reason hear what the club had to say. If a protest does happen or boycott the club have got themselves to blame.
  5. Pretty sure a number of fans did form an alternative club out of protest.
  6. Remember us taking around 4000 Easter bank holiday last time we played them. On the Sat took 3000 to Huddersfield two of the biggest followings and best atmospheres following Oldham.
  7. Remember us taking around 4000 Easter bank holiday last time we played them. On the Sat took 3000 to Huddersfield two of the biggest followings and best atmospheres following Oldham.
  8. Not there on Tuesday having not seen us win a competitive league game since Rochdale last season nailed on Oldham win
  9. Him and Shez part of a decent Sheff Weds side back in the day. Was a decent defender very old school fingers cross what we need.
  10. I quite like The Wanadies you and me song be a good anthem.
  11. A reminder we will be doing a minutes applause for Nathan in the 30th min today.
  12. Yes FA cup replay, i am gutted my only knew ground this season. Plan was Thursday and Friday in Burton then fly out to Berlin for the England v Germany game. Will have to watch it in a boozer over there.
  13. Everyone up has spoke on here sums up the great lad Nathan was. A big request to all Oldham fans On the 10th January, Nathan McLean a loyal passionate supporter of both The Latics and Roughyheads passed away after a short battle with Cancer. Even in his final few days and hours, Nathan was still looking forward to watching his beloved latics. While in hospital Nathan turned 30 years of age and at this weekends game with Bradford on the 30th min we are asking if all fans could please join in a minutes applause in memory of Nathan. If you could share this on all social media outlets related with Latics it be appreciated.
  14. The reason why i didnt book any train tickets, atleast next round where ok as Wigan are out.
  15. Remember in his second spelling having a shocker away at Bournemouth
  16. Maybe the reason Jim was shown the door so they could save on his wage and use it towards paying Dunn when we signed him.
  17. I won't have him back if am honest cracking player but when he last returned you can tell injuries had took it's toll.
  18. Home crowds have dropped over the last 10 years i can assure you. Work out the number of home fans per game this season and 10 years ago. Then do it each sason back once you take away the away following you will be suprised.
  19. If we go down i will still support them, i am proberly one of the most positive fans you will meet but also realistic and there is no garuntee we will win more games in League 2, not based on current performances and to alot of smaller teams we may seen as bigger fish so will no doubt raise there game against us. People may go on about us being League one all these years but the BBC, ITV, BT still like to mention M**K H**hes 94 semi final goal whenever they can or if where still in the cup.
  20. As a football fan in general, being selfish once i would not been arsed about being in League Two for the new grounds, but having seen many teams get promoted and relegated from this league is relegation worth it for the sake of 6 or 7 grounds? LJ was not a class or anything special but when he left we where in a play off spot? I am sick of league one but if we are going to get out of it i much rather we try for promotion, something the board should of realised last season. Looking back an oppotunity missed seeing no club seemed to have a strong grip on 6th place.
  21. Thing is league one last season and this season has shown me on there day anyone can beat anybody, a decent manager and we can compete with other teams.
