When i first met him 10months ago i didnt know what to expect. What i found was a young intelligent manager in touch with the modern game but respecting old fashioned values such as players behaviour etc. Johnson plans sounded long term rather than short term. Its clear in the football that has been played he his building a team for the future, he has tried to play football the right way. Of course there has been some games where it didnt happen or the opposistion made it hard for us. Most his signings have been good he got it right with Korey, sadly not worked out with Sidney & from what i read on here and heard from the recent meet the manager he wanted it to work for Rooney which to me was a decent coup. He has given youngsters alongside fringe players such as Kirk Millar a chance. After the end to the season and opening game of the season i had hoped we would of scored more goals, i didnt think promotion was capable but thought we be somewhere in between mid table & where we are now. He still has my backing and some of the comments towards him mainly by some the so called trolls on twitter are not called for or out of order. Of course some people will always moan for any reason or may not be convinced, some fans i myself did hope he have a more experince number 2 however being in control for so long sure he rather do it all his own way. The buzz fans had going into the start of the season was something i and others had not felt for a while. With Yeovil also going up think that put ideas in people head we would also. Still to me he his a good manager and deserves time something the fans should give him.

A Southend fan who use to work at Latics told me until they can move ground it's holding them back. Like Oldham Southend stuck on border or the London clubs mainly West Ham. Also took a while for Phil Brown to win there fans over.

Lets not forget the amount of stick Kuqi got for his JPT pen miss.

Thing what people do not get either is, its not just a Oldham thing happens with so many clubs not just on twitter but on other football forums also all about patience and time. Do you think the new stand will help? yes it will make the staduim look nicer but i can also see that stand looking full while the Rocky, Chaddy and Main stand lower looking deserted if alot of fans move other. Which will also include also of the moaners also unless a singing section is created within the stand.

I try to avoid twitter during games and after with me not going last night as well as txts from mates I looked at it for updates. Was shocked at some of the things I was reading some fans are just clueless at the sametime I feel some of are fans seem to live 24/7 on there which does help when they get all worked up. Agree with you the so called obession some of are fans have got with him wanting to fail is pathetic.Would of liked to have seen him do well although the reality is it was a big ask him going to Doncaster but at the sametime given there budget and compared to other clubs i think most managers would struggle with them. Having the history, staduim bigger budget there also able to snap any decent player in those leagues as i guess most teams that level are part time.
