Was told last night Liverpool wanted Friday they got City in Carling Cup semi final. Gonna have to try sort my shift out to get there.

There was a couple in the Chaddy who made me laugh best comment after 5min whats wrong with the scoreboard never use to be like that. A guy sat further up from us in the Chaddy claimed Wes worse player on the field asked why we signed him long with a few other comments. When he tried getting singing the blues going no one else joined in.

I think football in general has gone down in terms of presenting etc. I use to love the old Granada soccer night presenters Elton Welsby and Robert McCaffrey coverage use to be in deph. However ITV to me seem only interested in The Champions League, England games and the latter stages off the FA cup. I saw Granada reports the other week and thught how bad the reports where off lower legues clubs. Fact they seemed interested in only showing one goal from a game. Not watched the football League show for ages however in the age of digital TV is it really hard for them maybe give each league its own show. We can watch it online or on BBC 3 OR 4 later on the week. People slate channel 5 but i actually enjoy watching games on there and reckon they do a far job than BBC do.

We aint seen much of Mancini but on what i seen if i was Dickov i do my best to keep Adeyemi to me he his just as important as Wes, Simpson, Kuqi and Furman.

I turn 29 in Feb but remember that season well. For his faults Talbot gave us some decent cup runs fact regardless of his league posistion his win against City was forgotton by his decision to field a weakened side against Wrexham in the semi final first leg.

The Stockport fans i work with do not rate him much. Good signing by Dickov this think Gerrard is good but if he takes a knock, plus give him time to try prove himself plus with the flu and other bugs going round like with Stephans last season. Also with so many players getting released by bigger clubs and ending up nowhere think he be out to prove a point.

Worry thing is Simpson has now started to draw attention off other clubs and money talks and unless we have some agreement offering us the chance to sign him permently we could end up losing out on him. Hopefully not personally i think Adeyemi, Clarke and Scapuzzi have all been great loan signings compared to others in the past. I do not see how Josh Parker and mentioned earlier how Rueben Reid will get back into to the team. But as we know injuries and suspensions will end up happening.

You hit the nail on the head this is just another form of poaching on the cheap suppose the only benefit i see is if Man City and Wigan went head to head for a player no club could out bid each other. The FA need to step in and sort this issue out when it was first muted.

I have always done Tranmere by train although tommorow am on rifle normally i get off at Birkenhead Central rather than Rocky Ferry. Birkenhead central at 25min walk up hill or 10 min bus ride after game it is a 15min walk downhill. Last season we saw a few of there yuth chavs about at the station and ignore the Carlton Pub. But find better than the area where Rockferry is located and you pass a nice chippy

I Do not see what the harm is in promoting this game with there gonna promote us or pay us revenue at the end of the day. Do see the point about people going to watch a Non League game but suppose its down to peoples interest Sale Sharks more high profile.
