  1. No but it means those who went to the far distance games such as Exeter, Bournemouth, Yeovil and there was a big demand say Bury end season. Those Season Ticket holders who went to those games could get first call that was my point.
  2. Anyone who believes the rumour site proberly still believes in Father Christmas.
  3. Was on BBC yesterday Stockport made a bid be good signing if we get him Someone mentioned Deeney on the Oldham Facebook page not sure if there is any truth in it.
  4. Best of luck I know anorther Owtb poster who was told he was to old to get one being over 21, he his now 25 still not able to get one.
  5. Dirty cheating red knob, but still a decent player to have on the books. HIS ANTICS FOR gillingham a few seasons back enough to make you scream. Still if he scores goals can forgive and forget.
  6. Reading the article about Scholes last night made me think did they have this date in mind. I reckon there be a behind closed door friendly. Although Stalybridge on there website mentions they where trying to find a free date to play us. Still yoofs at Bacup will do, while we got a small sqaud we dont want to risk any silly injuries before the season starts.
  7. Pretty sure I read in the papers he was going on loan to Blackpool along with another lad as part the Charlie Adam deal.
  8. Offer him a contract to just play for us in a home JPT game when we draw Morecambe again that 1100 crowd will become 10,000 he can play for second half. Score the winning penalty which puts into the next round and get the buzz to go on thr glory trail for one last time.
  9. Still have last season team sheet that says Vincent Kompany was playing for us.
  10. Was over in Castle Blayney the other week and Dublin on the Sunday had a cracking time hoping to pay more visits over there. A of me mates friends are orginally from Oldham but sadly our City fans.
  11. CMR any chance you message me the names of the horses i have backed that way i can drop the money off in the rifle on me way to work not sure if i can make it now you see?
  12. Proves my point that any sort of fake rumour they will publish.
  13. I had my doubts about Abbott and was proven right. However i think Donaldson be a decent signing not sure about Mcdonald gone all quiet but suppose if he was really in demand he would off already signed for someone.
  14. Good idea but I do not think the Stewards would like the idea of are fans in any form of standing. Guess its back to the normal Come on Oldham, Owtb and stand up if you hate Man U.

  16. I do not think we have a big enough away following to introduce this sort of scheme. Atleast it would reward those fans who travel to more away games i guess.
  17. Think it be a loan deal myself. He has never been given a decent run in the team really sure he will prove himself well given a chance.
  18. Was told the samething tonight just his Agent needs to finalise the move.

  21. Got relegated based on three seasons of poor results and lost a play off over two ties. The whole system of teams being relegated based upon there average points over three years was brought in after River Plate should of got relegated in 1981. Anyway the game today got abandoned in the last min. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-13922463 Argentina's River Plate lose historic relegation fight River Plate's forward Mariano Pavone (left) reacts after missing a penalty in the second half against Belgrano (26 June 2011) River Plate's forward Mariano Pavone (left) reacts after missing a penalty in the second half Continue reading the main story Related Stories * Argentina's football rivalry * Country profile: Argentina * Argentina tackles soccer violence One of the great clubs of South American football, River Plate, have been relegated from the Argentine first division for the first time in their 110-year history. River needed to win by two clear goals to escape dropping to the country's "B" league. But the team managed only a 1-1 draw against Belgrano de Cordoba. The match, held in River's stadium in Buenos Aires, had to be abandoned in the final minute, amid chaotic scenes. Police fired water hoses at the stands, following a pitch invasion by furious River fans. The game took place amid unparalleled security, involving more than 2,000 police. River, who had gone 1-0 up in the first half, saw their lead slip in the second half, after a well-taken Belgrano goal. River, the club that's won more domestic titles than any other, was one of only three clubs never to have dropped out of the first division. Many commentators have described it as a drop into the "abyss" for a club of River's pedigree. In recent weeks, River's fans have reacted angrily to a string of poor results, demanding the resignation of the club's president, Daniel Passarella. It has been a steep fall from grace for Passarella, the man who captained Argentina's World Cup winning squad in 1978. He was idolised by River's supporters when he played for club. River's decline on the pitch has been mirrored by financial problems -- nicknamed the "millionaires", the club is currently carrying an estimated $19m (£12m) of debts.
