Goal ace Ross Hannah has left Evo-Stik League Premier Division side Matlock Town to sign a one year professional deal with Bradford City in nPower League Two.
Hannah, who has won the Evo-Stik League Premier Division Golden Boot award the past two seasons, had his pick of league clubs after an astonishing season which saw him net a total of 52 goals in all competitions.
Speaking to the Bantams official webiste, Bradford boss Peter Jackson said: "I am delighted that Ross has come here.
"We had to move quickly because his contract at Matlock expired on 7 May and he has had several Championship and League One clubs enquiring about him. Ross has said all along though that his gut feeling was to join Bradford and I am thrilled that he has signed for us today.
"He has an outstanding recent goalscoring record, and whatever league you score them in, scoring goals is one of the most important things in football."
Hannah is the second Golden Boot winner in recent years to join a professional side. Last season's Division One North winner Jordan Connerton completed a memorable season by signing a three-year deal with Crewe Alexandra, and is currently on loan at Icelandic club IBV after making his league début for the Railwaymen in March.
