  1. What price would you put on a Tarky compo if he went to another league 1 club?
  2. Whilst im suprised I think he has it right Not sure I would have given Winchester a deal or offer but imagine he is cheap I think this indicates the theory of Cisak may have been right regarding having to up payments if he had made more apperances as he has realeased our #1 but in talks with our #2 I actually think Cisak might turn us down, wait and see
  3. Lol have people just added votes for Cisak now Bouzanis has been released
  4. Just for the record I wouldn't but thought someone might
  5. Been told that it is unlikely his option is going to be taken up at Hibs.....Simple one.... Would you have him back?
  6. I think LJ may have made the right choice in releasing Bouzy but thanks for the memories, he will be in league 2 or back home i expect
  7. Also gobsmacked that Baxter didnt win the young player
  8. The worrying thing is Brown must have thought about doing it, got someone at the club to book him, arranged travel for him, invited him into the changing room and not once during that time thought ':censored: me, the lads are going to piss themselves and never respect me after this' bunch of grade A tools the pair of them (although fair play to Kyle he has played a good'un) paid to talk what was proper crap in a changing to professional footballers
  9. I heard about it on talk:censored:e the other night What a clown! Can all of those who voted for Brown to be our boss in the poll a few months ago please raise their hands? lol Has there ever been two big headed little idiots more suited that Kyle & Brown
  10. Yeah he certainly has the raw talent to be able to do those things but he needs to apply himself in the right way for 90mins He can win you a game but does have a tendancy I believe to go missing, he has all the attrubuites like strength, power, natural ability and vision to see things but its all about how far he wants to go imo. I saw a similar player we had in Jay Emmanuel-Thomas he had it all but what some what brain dead off the pitch and never really have the level of desire required. Although if even of the two of them became avaliable I would snap them up. The other in the group was Benik Afobe I remember when he came here with Hudds but didnt do a lot the day we battered them and won 1-0 of the lot I expect Aneke will go the furthest If we needed a right-back Nico-Yennaris who skippers the reserves is a great talent and can play in midfield as well, reminds me of K.Lee in his play
  11. Added to Grounds, Wes & Jose of course who are argueably our 2 best players and skipper
  12. We need to secure who he wants to keep 1st and work around those players I want to see hungry younger players with a bit of experience to help them along not journeymen in the same category as a Iwelumo. LJ start fills me with confidence he wont do that We need a goalscorer and they dont come cheap and are like goldust so it may be a case of asking a player who has done it at say league 2 level to step up Get the spine right and build around it with quality youth and players who have been there and done it who are winners and want to play
  13. Now that the season has ended just wanted to drop a quick note of thanks to everyone who has supported and donated to the scheme. I have had the pleasure of speaking to the club and based on the success of this season I will again be running and collecting donations for the scheme. This project will now be ongoing for the foreseeable future. With this in mind we are looking to help re-name the scheme 'Latics For Life Legacy'. Of the children who received the tickets some have attended every home game seen being in receipt of the tickets (all located within The Chaddy End) and can now be considered Latics fans which is what the scheme was equally designed for as well as helping out those children within the local community who were perhaps not lucky enough or able to afford being able to attend games. May I also thank all Latics fans for being so accommodating and your kind words throughout the season. The work that Rick Attwood & Wendy Noble on the community trust have done on this project has been phenomenal and certainly without their help this would not have been the success it has been. Next season we hope to raise in excess of £1,500 which is a large target although some money has already been donated to the pot by an extremely kind Danish person on here (the club may be in his username). We are also helpful of receiving a sponsor of the scheme which will include exposure on the clubs website and hopefully a mention in a programme or 2. (Any offers please feel free to PM me). This season we have also ran competitions for match day tickets and signed memorabilia. The plan is again next season to do this and maybe even an adult season ticket to be raffled off (to be confirmed) Once again thank you all and any questions of donations please feel free to send/e-mail to laticsforlife@live.co.uk Cheers, Dean A new thread will be created as soon as the ST details
  14. I could shave my head, stubble off and bloody pubes off and still wouldnt work!
  15. Talking of ticket fraud being charged £25 on the day at Swindon and Orient most certainly falls within that bracket
  16. I wasnt sure if SC would be there which is why I asked about the ST, wasnt expecting LJ to have much involvment in that Talking of players being reccomended I have seen a few rave reviews about a player I e-mailed the club about 2years ago who is now at Crewe from us called Chucks Aneke, he was class when I watched him in the reserves and has been now dubbed at Arsenal as the next Yaya Toure because of his power and running, really think he will make it big Cheers for clearing that up Chris
  17. Any mention of ST for next season? I make it just 102 days until the new season kicks off
  18. On a side note I have spoke with Furman many times and he is as nice a bloke in professional football you could meet. If all players in the game were that level headed and not primadonnas the game would be much better
  19. At the end of the day I dont have an issue with him. He was on the end of crap management by Dickov and he wasnt good enough in the end for the starting 11 so he moved on. He spend most of the season travelling and playing international games. At this level of wages I dont have a problem if he was told that he wasnt going to get games here and he looked out for number 1 by giving himself a good chance of earning a new deal at Donny in the summer and possibly playing in the league above I would be more annoyed if he was the best player at the club but he was far from it
  20. Thats a fantastic gesture, many thanks. I will discuss with Chris again to sort out the necessary How many would O4U/Prozac require? If you could both drop me a PM I will sort it out for you?
  21. Yeah, the majority of the tickets went to New Bridge mate. The children got tours of the ground and to meet players when they picked up their season tickets which from the feedback I know they loved. I cant tell you how many games they attended but the club put them in an area of the chaddy that was supervised by staff from the club
  22. I hope they do. I intend to run it again this year due to the sucess of last year If the tickets remain at £10 I already have enough in the pot to donate 20 season tickets. Even if goes to £20 I hope they do something. We have brought my nephew one for this season and whilst he doesnt go all that often he has loved it when he has gone and it ends up with him getting scaves, food, programmes the lot
  23. Huge sucess I think, when i met with the club was led to believe that the amount of adult ST had also increased as a result of the kids tickets Just as a side note none of the children who benefited from the 'laticsforlife' donated tickets would have ran on the pitch as they all sit in the Chaddy End. A lot of the children have come from a school who cater for special needs children I believe is the politically correct term
  24. Smith will go and certainly with my blessing. It will be a no brainer for the lad to x4 his wages. Remember we are not taking premiership wages here and his career could be over in 2 years time with a bad injury I think he will go to the championship and if it don't work out may end up back as an Oafc player All the best to smith hope all works out for him
