  1. All 4 quarter finals are always on TV so no worries there Want united away though
  2. I dont want to get ahead of myself and the above is a huge task but there doesnt seem to be a massive excitement ahead of tomorrow's tie looking at the threads and comments on here that there was for the Liverpool and even Forest games Everton are a better side than Liverpool (not bigger) granted but we again get the chance to take on a premier league giant who are playing as well as they have for years and a manager right at the top of his trade who is being touted as the next manager of Man Utd or Chelsea I hope tomorrow we really enjoy the occasion and Im sure we will or at least I hope forget the woes on and off the pitch for 90mins Should we win and we are capable we really could make a cup semi-final with a huge payday in the worlds most famous cup competition with the right draw be it a Barnsley, Millwall, Mk Franchise, Luton etc I apologise if I have judged it wrong and it may be as im outside of the town it might be that but seems little buzz of the actual game on here or our own offical site and we still havent sold out
  3. Any idea what time the ticket office is open tomorrow as wanted to go down in the morning and pick up my tickets if I can
  4. Maximise revenue and sell the name rights off I created a thread a few months back and said we should sell the staduim name off to a company as well because as fans it will always be Boundary Park to us anyway and would provide easy cash Just imagine the amount of press alone a company would have had this season with Camera's at the Sheff Wed, Liverpool & Everton games
  5. Having only been in the RRE once I didnt realise could even get drink in there lol
  6. If we took on Lee which I hope we dont would we have to pay compo to Bolton? If so surely that is a no go to take a risk on someone with no experience and have to pay to take that risk as well would be ludacroius
  7. Is TP still 20/1 at the bookies as if he is incharge for 10 games they will pay out and by next saturday he will be 30% of the way there reading along those lines
  8. It seems to be more than just the dough that is the issue here Hopefully the deal aint brown bread
  9. That Bournemouth side should do well in the championship as well Fair play to Howe was a ballsy step that looks like its paying off, it helps they have a bucket load of cash They must be good if they allowed Barnard to go back to Saints without trying sign him again, although they have loads of strikers
  10. If it is £200 +vat and a shirt I will buy a season ticket Agree with the above away games seem to be best but thing that applies for most clubs
  11. Im sure if it went tits up here he could get a job back with sky either way
  12. You should pressed them into what the future plans are for the club i.e new stand, budgets the lot and then when they obviously didnt give you the deatil stood up and demanded the club ring your agent so he could pick you up Who was it with Neil Joy?
  13. Is flooding the middfield not an effective option bringing Furms in and leaving Barnard up top alone with Baxter off him and telling Obita and Croft to really get up and down which will be tough Everton and Liverpool are million miles apart in way they will play regardless of the personal picked If we can stop the deliver from the full backs and get bodies in and around Fellaini we could have sucess If I was TP I would wind Fellaini up at any chance as he has the ability to lash out in his nature. Its not playing to our strengths but a draw and a bumper payday again at their place would be fantastic acheivement
  14. You say we wouldnt announce a manager coming in just before the Everton game but does that mean we can before the Stevenage game nextTuesday which I would say is bigger Enjoy the cup but for dont lose our league status The Dowie one is weird, Corney said all the people who wanted the job applied we didnt go to talk anyone into applying so on that basis Dowie must know and be willing to take the pay drop id suggest He is the best in the running imo but we shouldnt break the bank. Grayson will not happen on our budget and he will get another job elsewhere probably in the summer Thursday and the news should be bigger than Saturday if goes well for the club in the long run fingers crossed I cant wait until we appoint a manager so we dont have so many of these threads (nothing against the writer of the OP)
  15. I certainly wouldnt rule out that it is indeed a fan of one of the manc scum teams Hopefully should it be sold to a Everton fan (hope not) then he will pay in a fake scouse £20 note
  16. I will be backing pretty much same as Liverpool Always do JYM 1st scorer was 50/1 last time Baxter 1-0 & 2-1 no idea on the price Oldham to win by 1 & Everton to win by 3+ goals just incase we get spanked
  17. Im pleased he is taking his time to make the correct decision... the only thing is Lee aint the right decision surely! My choice is Dowie and if not talk TP into the job only until end of the season and assess from there
  18. Id start Smith even if him and Barnard have never played together as Smith is a huge help in both boxes and as per the Liverpool game it allows us to go from back to front quickly. Only seen Iwelumo once v Walsall and seems to have leadership qualities to see us over the line at the end Simspon on the bench as well
  19. Headline should be 'simmo in cup miracle injury cure' only to be injured again for Stevenage on a cold and wet Tuesday night when he doesnt fancy it again Fast becoming our Darren 'sicknote' Anderton
  20. Granted we havent seen tons of him yet but Derbyshire or Barnard?
  21. As Furman is 24 in June do we not have to offer him improved terms to get compo on him? I would give him a deal anyway undoubtably
  22. Delighted for Tarky, have had my doubts but he is raw and with a run of games and work he will only get better, has leadership qualities that you cant teach One game doesnt make him a world beater he is a good step in the right direction, I didnt go Saturday but did against Walsall when I thought Byrne had a mare Maybe we have found in loop hole in having an extra player with Byrne helping out as a sub from the sideline
