I'd have Matt Palmer in for him every day of the week and he'd come at half the price.
Pretty sure he wouldn’t as he starts most weeks for burton in the league above.

and there we have it get rid of Bryne put Holloway in midfield
? thought I would add that one in as I was surprised considering how much of a free reign he gets that it is that low.

Stats on Davies and Holloway assist please?
Since wellens took over;
Davies 3 goals 2 assists in 15 league games
Holloway 1 goal 5 assists in 9 league games.
Jack Byrne 2 goals 3 assists in 15 league games.

He was in the gym last Saturday, along with a host of others, including Fawns, Duffus, Omrani and Osei...
On his Instagram he has started training again and looks to be doing extra training on his own. Looks like the same guy who was doing extra training with Fane.

Gardner covers more ground than anyone else in the team including Fane. The lads been ill and still plays unlike others. Even if he wasn’t ill he’s allowed a slight dip in form, that’s why he’s a League 1 player but a bloody good one.
Lad covers more pitch than Fane? Bet he doesn’t. Doesn’t normally last more than 70 mins either.

Going only off the YouTube clips posted, they look like completely different types of players so I wouldn’t expect McEleney to directly replace Byrne.
More likely we’ll change our style a little.
May mean dropping Gardner and playing to out and out wingers. Mceleney seems to have a good engine on him just hope we can keep him fit.

Alex Nimely last seen in the uk struggling to get in a league 2 port vale side wasn’t he?

To be Fair with Byrne, we thought after Palmer we wouldn’t get another midfielder like him and we did, so not worried if he goes plenty out there. Start of his loan he was superb but then I’m sure most will agree he has took his foot of the peddle in the last few weeks.
Dont get me wrong i would have liked him to stay but plenty more fish and all that! Hoping Mcleaney can fill the gap

Keegan did not read it here. I was told on Saturday and was asked to do the club a favour and keep it quiet for a while.
Any news on him signing for us mike? Would still take the risk and buy him if an option.

Oh, did anyone else see that article yesterday linking Paul Green with a loan move to Northampton or Coventry?
Can't find it now.
Imagine if we could send him to Northampton to do a reverse Curtis Main though?
Would be good but Main doesn’t play for Northampton

Well Gerrard is suspended on sat, so we might quickly see.
It may be that Clarke takes advantage of the opportunity like Gerrard has.
For me, they are a pair now, and we interchange to get an extra season or two, if needed, out of them.
He’s not suspended. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/13867/10557649/efl-confirms-checkatrade-trophy-to-act-as-standalone-competition

Looked exhausted after 20 mins on Tuesday. Clearly not ‘putting it in’ could be one to waste his talent if he carries on.

Very true but he is still shite too but at least he can head a ball. Fane cannot even though he is about 6 and a half feet tall
Now your talking out of your arse.

Think we will either see Flynn CM in place of Gardner or menig but him playing 4-4-2
Shrewsbury away

Formation is completely non existent. Fault lies with wellens no one else. Poor line up 1 upfront is costing us massively.
