I have always said its vital we develop & bring are own players through.
I fear Glackin could be the one that gets away and comes back to haunt us.
How many have come back to haunt us in the last 10 years? Off the top of my head none. I trust shez's judgement.

Neil Etheridge out of contract at Walsall and the summer and fans are saying he has refused to sign a new deal and wants to leave. After his performances for them would be a decent signing for us.

£200 apparently, small claims court settled in favour of disgruntled fan, unfortunately the judgement came too late for her to take advantage of the early bird season ticket offer.

Doesnt help him that the Centre mid is Fane (who cant pass) and Banks who looks right every time, as you have both Green and Mclaughlin there. Taylor on the left doesnt have the support Mclaughlin has. He does however have a miles better delivery than anyone else on the team, and I still have no idea why he isnt on all free kicks and corners and Banks is!
Sorry but disagree about fane his game has improved massively as has his distribution recently. He is driving with the ball a lot more than he was. Taylor to me shirks defensive responsibility and definitely costs us in a lot of games. If his delivery In crossing wasn't as good as it is he would be starting for me.

Strange advice...
Holloway has 5 assists in 15 games paddy joint top with banks but banks played more games.
For what Holloway does in holdup play the others don't have in their games would be a massive loss not having him starting.
-
Don't think it is he took a picture of himself in front of the tele watching it.

In terms of impact i.e. goals, Erwin is having a bigger impact than Holloway though?
Holloway good player, but him and Lee too similar, and can you afford a striker that doesn't score?
If that's what you saw from Saturday my advice to you would be stop watching football, but in all seriousness Two completely different players who are causing real problems for defences. Just keeping Holloway fit is the real issue.
Would love to see them two as two of our striking options next season. Would imagine though Erwin is on far too much money for us.

Would like some of the money be put towards putting signage up to identify the JFS.

Pretty sure most people who sell products to businesses don't go back and look at them. Got to be more to it than that he looked chuffed after our second!
-
Scoreboards looking good at the side of the pitch same we have to have the gates for health and safety in the middle but hey ho. Gives us the team lineups and advertising. Would be happy with a basic scoreboard now with just the scores on!

Dad defied the odds for over a week, he decided his fight was over at 3.30pm yesterday.
thanks for all your good wishes I really mean it. His love of all things blue and white will live on through me and his grandkids.
Today will be a tough one but I'll be there. It's what dad would have wanted.
Sorry to hear Prozac hopefully the lads can do your dad proud and win today. Thoughts are with you and your family.

Fancy a win against them close and edgy but 1-0 win for me. Hopefully a Holloway goal to prove a point to Rosler

Reckon he is going 3 at the back and feel stott could be the left sided CB. Like someone else said rather anyone than reckord.

I was not renewing 100% (I know I say it every year - this year I wasn't, didn't even have the money)
then dad fell seriously ill last week. So ill we'd pretty much said our good byes on Friday night. I renewed Saturday morning for me and my daughter. I'd had it with this club this season and especially with the owner.
Friday before dad was moved to the ICU and before he suffered his cardiac arrest and before being put into a medically induced coma he told me to go to Southend. " don't worry about me I want you to go, you should go. You're a Latics fan it's what you do"
As dad deteriorated through the night I knew I wouldn't go to Southend and we got home at 3am after being at hospital for 15 hours knowing it could be curtains for him. After getting about two hours kip, we rang to see if he had survived the night. He had, and I renewed my season tickets first thing Saturday morning.
Why? As you know I've simply had it with the doom and gloom and lack of a Plan or hope, but dad passed on his love of Latics to me and as the outlook for him is grimmer than grim, multiple organ failure and there's several machines at the moment keeping him alive. He needs a miracle, until his illness kicked in over the last 10 years we'd go home and away together most weeks and despite my loathing for the current regime I can't throwaway a bond developed through dad over 31 seasons. I know when the time comes for him i'll never be closer to him than when I'm at boundary park on a Saturday afternoon...
i can't let that go, I just can't...

Confirmed in the chron Hunt out for the season as he needs groin surgery. Dummigan suffered set back in training and Reckord is just shit.

Why would Simon Corney need a new company for LED Media? Is the money not going back to the club? Registered in a way that doesn't link to his other appointments on Companies House.
Possibly ownership of the scoreboard keeps it away from HMRC if club does ever disappear. Not uncommon arse covering exercise probably

Exactly
What should have been positive news about investment in our club has turned into a farce due to poor communication
Poor communication? The trust presumed (and falsely) something which wasn't right why should the club have to issue a statement every time a 'rumour' comes out??

Chief Executive Responsibilities -
The responsibilities of an organisation's CEO are set by the organisation's board of directors or other authority, depending on the organisation's legal structure. They can be far-reaching or quite limited and are typically enshrined in a formal delegation of authority. Typically, responsibilities include decision maker on strategy and other key policy issues, leader, manager, and executor. The communicator role can involve speaking to the press and the rest of the outside world, as well as to the organisation's management and employees; the decision-making role involves high-level decisions about policy and strategy. As a leader of the company, the CEO/MD advises the board of directors, motivates employees, and drives change within the organisation. As a manager, the CEO/MD presides over the organisation's day-to-day operations. The term refers to the person who makes all the key decisions regarding the company, which includes all sectors and fields of the business, including operations, marketing, business development, finance, human resources, etc.
Because that's how all businesses work.... Go of what a defintion is in a book / website. Who's to say corney doesn't make the key decisions etc. He owns the club after all.

I am now being told the event is either no longer available through this site or has sold out.
could be the first time since 1985 I've not bought one. Let's hope they get their act together. I see its now been extended unti Saturday.
That happened to me I realised my season ticket wasn't registered to that account. Double check you are showing on the ticketing account you are a season ticket holder.

Plus options on Law, Mantack and Stott, should we want to exercise them.
Wasnt law it was reckord I believe the extension was for. Praying that doesn't happen though!!
-
Only massive if we win on Saturday. Lose or draw and we stay behind them.
-
Banks delivery from set pieces I think personally has been shocking for weeks. Would rather law be taking them if his play was as good as his delivery law would be playing higher up the divisions.

Don't shoot the messenger but the TV gantry someone mentioned about this game might be correct. It's live on slovenian TV so there will be a stream out there if people are unable to attend.
Youth Team contracts, the Trust and Brendy Glackin

This is a great idea. The trust has lost its way on this front for the past season or so. Need to get back to basics for things like this.
