  1. Its probably because everton are not seen to be a big glamourous club like liverpool are. no matter what anybody says, a victory over liverpool will always outshine anything we can do against everton, no matter what the league placings. but i agree, the liverpool game got much more attention than the everton one has
  2. someone called evertontillidie has asked him for his email address, because pm'ing aint working. also only joined today and only made 2 posts. coincidence?
  3. spekeparkender? no thats someone who wants to sell some tickets, trying to hijack the thread. or have i missed it somewhere else?
  4. Im guessing Evertontillidie is one of you lot then?
  5. http://www.grandoldt...-the-oldham-end bang out of order whoever it is, no doubt he posts on here, and if it ever did kick off, i would hope he is the first and only latics fan to get his head kicked in
  6. If we win every game between now and the end of the season we can make the play offs, and then if we go up, who knows
  7. great gesture if they have done. heres hoping the other scousers do the same
  8. Smith Starts, Simpson Benched for me. Obviously depends if he is anywhere near full fitness, but id take te risk, he deserved it after his liverpool showing
  9. ive stopped looking the odds for this, it only takes someone £50 worth of bets in a relatively short period of time for the favourite to change
  10. TPis down to 20/1 for it on sky. someone obviously liked the look of his performance on sat
  11. if anyone is really that worried about not getting a ticket when they go on open sale i have my ticket from the mk game someone can have if they want. ive already got my ticket sorted
  12. Aussie fan, you have downrated every comment that even marginally puts boozy ahead of cisak. not cizak in disguise are you?
  13. Brown was on gmr doing the bolton game. latics fan rings up and said if you get the job brown, work on fitness. browns response seemed indifferent, and he quickly changed the subject. take that how you will
  14. modern day, i would say tranmere are our most immediate rivals, but its mainly due to us not having a decent one, people clutch at straws. obviously the two big ones are city and utd (purely on a local fan basis, their club as a whole, and the wider fan base couldnt give a :censored:) after that id say hudds, blackpool and tranmere on an equal basis and after that all your stockports/burys/dale etc for me latics dont have an out and out clear rivalry, never had done. historically we have fluctuated through the leagues to much and all our local rivals have bigger derbies of their own (bury/dale, utd/city etc) to really give a damn about us
  15. Iain Dowie 1/3 Paul Scholes 16/1 Nicky Butt 18/1 John Sheridan 20/1 Simon Grayson 20/1 Paul Jewell 20/1 Sammy Lee 20/1 Alex McLeish 25/1 Steve Kean 25/1 Nick Barmby 28/1 Alan Knill 28/1 Paul Ince 28/1 Billy Davies 33/1 Alan Irvine 33/1 Derek McInnes 33/1 Mark Crossley 33/1 Gary Megson 40/1 Peter Houston 40/1 Paolo Di Canio 40/1 Frankie Bunn 50/1 Steven Pressley 50/1 Graeme Souness 50/1 Micky Mellon 50/1 Andrei Kanchelskis 50/1 Richie Barker 50/1 Alan Curbishley 50/1 Owen Coyle 50/1 Phil Brown 80/1 is there any reason phil brown has fallen so out of favour all of a sudden? dowie being odds on is looking ominous, with the others so far behind
  16. kaley cuoco, the OWTB goddess of the year. id give up sex for life in return for an hour with her
  17. what do you know about the policing for everton bob?
  18. why is larry out of our budget? what has he ever done ABOVE our level? certainly knows his stuff at this level. no.1 target for me
  19. How ive wrote it and how you have read it are two different things. I mean its a must win cos we need the fans back. Not because i think its a six pointer. I dont
  20. As much as many of you might think parts of this thread are speaking the obvious, but The game at the Bescott this weekend could be the most important in many many years. If we can win, the confidence going forward could really propel us upwards for the rest of the season. We have beaten Liverpool, we are quite capable of beating anyone in this league. I fully agree with every word Corney says in his press statement. We really need to take a cracking following down the M6 on Sat. This is as much a must win game as any in recent years. not because its a 6 pointer against Walsall, but we really need to take advantage of the feel good factor around the club at the minute, and - coupled with any offers the club put on for the everton tickets - we could really see a bumper crowd at bp for the coming games. The fans have as much work to do now as the players, and i urge you, if you can get down to the Bescott Sat get down there.
  21. can you book a hotel and train ticket to wherever we are due to play when the quarters are scheduled then?
