    i fear we are becoming the rochdale of league one. doomed to spend 30+ years in the same crap division. if rochdale come up this year, would we be the longest serving club in a solatory division in the football league? (discounting the prem, cos united etc cant go up and will never come down)

    dont agree with the punishment they got from the authorities ( i always said a four year ban on them gaining promotion would be better, or an automatic relegation) but tbh i hate that club. crap ground, dirty team, dick head fans, couldnt have happened to a nicer club

    seems sad and petty to me to delete all posts and such like just because another site - which can house perminent records of results and photos, etc (which this site never has) - becomes active. does the club know a much used forum has been dumped i wonder?

    isnt there a limit to how many loans you can make in one season? we must surely be pushing that now. i thought it was 8 short term and 4 long term, making 12. If you count jones as 2 ( i dunno if you do or not) we are already at our limit.     If i wasnt in the process of buyin a house, i would be at every game possible, unfortunatly i have to settle for owtb's game with rochdale instead. bloody financial constraints!!!

    the past is legendary, but its the here and now what matters. id take the third division play offs now over any league or fa cup run back in the day

    if we win on sat, and play some of the royle football we came to know and love early 90's, i would think the majority would stay and support us for the remainder of the season. 6000-6500 average home gate for the remaining gates would see tta happy i would guess. hopefully more with a push into the playoffs.

    my dad reckons it will only add a couple of hundred. so ive had him a ten pound bet. anything over 7000 and the tenner is mine. easy money

    the one thing you cant say about the appointment is that he doesnt have the fans backing. he will get more time than literally every other possible manager on earth. the buzz around the place should win us a few points alone

    tta didnt take control of the club officially until celebration sunday in feb, but they were in and around the club from november, if memory serves. Dowie spouted he was loyal to the club, and made promises to tta, then went running to palace
