Sorry for it taking so long, I had too get it confirmed with Alan before it could get announced. unfortunaly he has been away all last week. Just bad timing I guess. I do however have the clubs full backing, and word these winning songs will definatly be used next season. I very much doubt they would let me do the poll in the first place, announce it in the chron and announce it on the official site if they were going to back out.

unfortunatly we have already planned the event around a party of three (two walkers and a support driver). Basically because of accomodation difficulties, and therefore cannot accomodate anyone else through the entire walk. however, various members of this board have shown an interest in walking with us for a couple of hours here and there, and they will be more than welcome (with a large donation of course,nudge nudge, wink wink mark ) Cheers for showing an interest though. Just a quick update, we have done an interview and photo shoot for the M E N tonight, so all you who get it, look out for our artical over the coming week. couldnt pin point when it will be in, but it will be.

Thanks for the support everyone, Atric, I have sent you a pm with a few details on, but as has been said, we already have a support driver in Peanut, which is very much appeciated. Its easy to take the credit for something like this, but without a support driver it wouldnt be happening. Also thanks to Martin Thomas at Vehicle Consultants for providing us with a car. much appreciated. Obviously there are still things which need planning, I spend every dinner hour on the phone or writing emails trying to get this planned. If anyone could help with any of these matters, please, drop me a pm. 1) a bucket collection outside the ground is likely to be taking place. Are there any volunteers to shake a bucket? 2)We will be wearing T shirts displaying our sponsors company logos on. There is quite a large demand, with limited space available, but if anyone knows of any companies willing to donate a substantial amount for this, please give me a bell. 3)FAO JACKO are you still ok to do the printing of these t shirts, as discussed at the preston tournament? if so, is there a deadline for when you need the information? As has been said, we have been pounding the pavements in training. personally, i have been walking 8 miles three times a week, and before we set off, i want to be completing at least three or four 25 mile jaunts, the problem with this however is finding the time. Im not for applause in tragic circumstances, all for it when someone has lead a good long life, and past away when time is fitting, but this is tragic circumstances, and im sure the moment will bring a tear or two down many peoples faces on the 9th. whether we applaud or not, chants of ernie will ring out all game anyway, so i vote for silence. I dont think the poll was rigged, i just think the four options we were given in the first place were not very good. red, we wouldnt wear cos of utd, sky blue, cos of city, and the barca one is a colour clash with the home one anyway, although i would have thought that would have won, just so we could see the tang shirt more often

cracking idea, but instead of giving it to a staff member/player, give it to the fan of the year, after all ernie is a man of the people, who played for latics, something each and every one of us would love to do. there is already a player of the season, i think its about time we had a fan of the season, for someone who goes to every match, or gives their own time to help the club out.

the simple answer to that diago is owtb members should be voting on either the owtb poll or the chronicle poll. the vot in the chron is for people who have not got internet access, or are not members of owtb. This would manipulate the poll as i have no way of knowing if an owtb member has voted in both polls. anyone who has voted twice on the chronicle vote has wasted the cost of a text because i have only counted their vote once

All the choices in the poll were nominated by owtb users. with one option in each category being selected by oafc. Therefore there can be no arguments about what is in the poll, you all had the chance to nominate.

I havent seen the artical, but the tunes should be lettered in order. I presume they are not lettered then?
