Ohh Johnny Eyre
After reading a post on the Paul Warne thread, I wondered what other fans top three players of the last ten years were. I'll start with mine. 1 - John Eyre 2 - Reuben Hazell 3 - Clint Hill

seasidelatic
I've only been attending regularly since the 02-03 season, but mine are; 1. David Eyres 2. Richie Wellens 3. Neal Eardley controversial choices, probably. Except Eyresy, of course.
Ackey
As this seems to be more about the player than strictly about the most talented, I'd say: 1. Paul Warne 2. Pogs 3. David Eyres

Ackey
How is it - and I'm not trying to cause bother here - that Wellens is in multiple top three's, yet Porter would undoubtedly be in multiple bottom three's? Both brought something to the side that no one since has. Both left on free's despite saying they would stay. Strange eh. Especially as Porters lack of consistency was bemoaned despite an injury he will never be without, whilst Wellens' was considered a price we had to pay for his ability. I love football opinions. flytrap
i agree mate. the number of times wellens went missing during games seems to have been overlooked by some. on his day he was a fantastic player but i think we only saw that every one in five games. Wellens only said he would stay if the contract was right. We didn’t offer him what he could get elsewhere and he went. No surprise really and can’t really have too much of a problem with him. Porter on the otherhand knew he could attract a fee. We turned down good money for him as we expected him to sign and then he took the option that meant we got no money at all with a questionable move north of the border. I would say a big difference myself. Personally though I would say Porter was the more influential of the two. My top 3: 1. Eyres 2. Shez 3. Taylor Special Mention for Duxbury
