Diego_Sideburns
You could definitely hear the Chaddy on the telly. You could hear Leeds more often but you'd expect that from a sizeable away support. I thought it was a decent enough effort from the Chaddy. Better acoustics on the telly than in the Main Stand.
Diego_Sideburns
so does anyone still reckon they should of given leeds the full end???? Mr. Hindsight is beginning to question the decision, after believing the hype about Leeds always selling out their away allocation.
Diego_Sideburns
Remember this thread about fans coming from Norway? http://www.owtb.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=20917 They were there last night in the Chaddy - one with a Norwegian flag and Latics scarf draped round his shoulders. Also some Swiss guys who were over to see as many games in a week as possible.
kellysheroes
yeah, why not? because they didnt sell out.... would of been a better athmosphere if oldham were in the CS sections
JoeLatics
Kelvin Lomax and Scott Golbourne were sat (restricted view behind the pillar ) across the aisle from me - they weren't singing, but it was good for them to experience what it's like in the Chaddy when we score. After a brief absence, Golbourne returned and as he sat down he thought Lomax was wearing a funny nose and glasses - he'd sat in the row in front, to the amusement of all around him. BESASTIAN11
Iv been in the chaddy when its been a lot better but it was pretty decent. Spoke to a leeds fan and they couldnt hear us all game. I thought they were crap and couldnt hear them much. It would be much better if everyone from the chaddy moved to the RRE. Better atmosphere and louder in there

ghostofcecere
As the title says, the crowd in my opinion was quality. If only all games was like that. Eh!!? I was sat in the Chaddy and all I could hear was Leeds singing at the other end! Well apart from just after the goal.
Diego_Sideburns
I find that if you're singing almost constantly, not only does your voice need longer than from Saturday until Monday to recover fully, but also you can only hear your section's singing and can't hear what's going on elsewhere in the ground. latic12345
Champions of Europe???????????? it comes from when they claim they were robbed of the European Cup in 1975 when Brian Munich beat em. champions of europe?they cant even win the 3rd division. That is the most comedy chant I have ever heard. I am very good friends with a Leeds fan and the irony was lost on him. I sent him a text suggesting singing that song is exactly why Leeds fans are disliked up and down the country. His honest response was "No mate... that chant has a lot of history" As I say, the irony was lost. Not only are they living in the past but they are singing about a winning a trophy they didnt win!!!!! I'm sure if they go up this year they will think they were brilliant given their 15 point deduction!!
spadam
I thought it was good bet not many of those part time fans won't be there Saturday.
