Ackey
Why the anti-Gannon lobby? We're Oldham fans - we have to hate people before/during/after their time Oldham Athletic. It's the rule. The amzingly :censored: and always in effect rule. No tow the line!!

lalalajpkalala
Andy Holden is an interesting one. Must have great contacts from all the time he's spent at Everton and he's been able to watch Moyes do the business. Not saying I'd go for him, but worth an interview if he fancies a move into management. Reserve team boss at Everton must be a relatively stress free way to earn a very decent living though. Gannon is looking for a (local) way out at Stockport from what I hear - wife wouldn't let him go to Brighton after he'd agreed a deal (allegedly)- due to the fact that they will struggle to hold on to their best young players this summer (Rowe, fon Williams, Johnson), so I'm sure he'll be knocking on Corney's door for a chat. RoytonBlueLad
so I'm sure he'll be knocking on Corney's door for a chat. I'm sure Corney has knocked on his door a few times before now too.

Macca
Don't get the anti-Gannon stuff either. Not heard any reasons either, just the word no. The guy is a good manager. Noticed Warhursts name on the list, he flew into Manchester Airport last week and he probably did get a minibus to BP unlike these fake shieks! toasits
With my best Marc and Lard impression, Whoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooo? I suspect that the John Hughes referred to here is the current manager of Falkirk FC - Scottish FA Cup finalists this year
lalalajpkalala
I suspect that the John Hughes referred to here is the current manager of Falkirk FC - Scottish FA Cup finalists this year I wonder if the guaranteed lure of Europa League qualification will hold him back from a move to League One. Decisions, decisions... I'm not sure which is less attractive!
dfOAFC
Ian Holloway would be entertaining if nothing else. no he wouldn't (???)
dfOAFC
Don't get the anti-Gannon stuff either. Not heard any reasons either, just the word no. The guy is a good manager. he looks an ok manager but seems to spit his dummy out a lot - not what we need IMO. low key is the way forward. sick of the constant melodrama. dfOAFC
Paul Ince 4/1 Andy Ritchie 5/1 Mark Robins 8/1 Paul Jewell 10/1 Colin Calderwood 14/1 Mickey Adams 14/1 Marc Crossley 16/1 Aidy Boothroyd 20/1 Gary McAllister 22/1 Steve Tilson 25/1 Alan Pardew 33/1 i'd be happy with any of the above, especially Jewell or Calderwood. don't think we could afford John Hughes
singe
I think we can rule a few out straight away. If we go for what we need. Some experience Our League experience Got a team out of a division Instant Impact Good contacts Not been out of work too long Not expensive Has worked with a small ish budget Would be respected by current players Would motivate the youngsters Anything else to add? BigfinLatic
low key is the way forward. sick of the constant melodrama. Not going to happen, unless we are recruiting someone to specifically manage Simon Corney's whims!
Zorrro
i'd be happy with any of the above, especially Jewell or Calderwood. don't think we could afford John Hughes Paul Ince won't manage in League One Paul Jewell is mince and needs a load of cash to work with Colin Calderwood - same as Jewell Mickey Adams - how anyone can say they'd be happy with Adams is beyond me. Took a Brighton side with some talented players and turned them into mush. Remind you of a certain faux-Irishman? Marc Crossley - Gary McAllister was mince at Leeds with a huge budget The rest I could take or leave. Gannon's got to be the outstanding candidate. Markoasis
Jim Gannon 7/2 Paul Ince 4/1 Andy Ritchie 5/1 Mark Robins 8/1 Steve Cotterill 9/1 Paul Jewell 10/1 Keith Hill 11/1 Tommy Wright 12/1 Paul Simpson 12/1 Lee Duxbury 12/1 Alan Knill 14/1 Colin Calderwood 14/1 Iain Dowie 14/1 John Hughes 14/1 Lee Sinnott 14/1 Mickey Adams 14/1 Marc Crossley 16/1 Martin Ling 16/1 Lee Richardson 16/1 Ian Holloway 16/1 Andy Holden 16/1 Now.... Jim Gannon 3/1 Paul Ince 4/1 Andy Ritchie 11/2 Mark Robins 8/1 Mickey Adams 8/1 Steve Cotterill 9/1 Biggest mover seems to be Adams

Frankly Mr Shankly
I'm suprised Neil McDonald hasn't been mentioned in the betting yet. Ex-Latic, did a decent job at Carlisle before bizarrely getting sacked a day into a new season. Not that I'd prefer him or anything, just noting he's not listed.
