leeslover
well played broady!! I would actually bum Broad right now. Hope Freddie comes on and returns some of the short stuff Johnson gave him Definitely bat again even if we do get the chance to make them follow on. Although it would be delicious to beat them by an innings I'd rather do the sensible thing and put some runs on the board whilst buggering the pitch up some more. opinions4u
i think id bat again, get as high a score as possible, the pitch should be even more unplayable by the time the aussies come into bat again Your thinking crossed with mine! rudemedic
8 down now, Johnson b Swann c Prior. They are only 2 runs shy of not having to bat again but I think everyone wants England to not enforce the follow on anyway. Ricky Ponting are you listening You better keep that urn glistening Cos come Sunday We'll be taking it away Walking in a Broady Wonderland

opinions4u
England 27-1. Could do with setting them 300+ even on this turkey of a pitch. EDIT: 37-2 now. Edited August 21, 2009 by opinions4u

opinions4u
I still think we're clear favourites to win though. Can't see them getting over 300 on that.

leeslover
I was thinking about how poor it is Prior has hardly if ever got a stumping for us!
razza699
I was thinking about how poor it is Prior has hardly if ever got a stumping for us! That is probably Reuben Hazells fault.
Frankly Mr Shankly
I was thinking about how poor it is Prior has hardly if ever got a stumping for us! Yeah, he's not got many but then in the professional game stumpings are fairly scarce anyway. Jack Russell only took 12 in 50+ tests. Prior's catch/test ratio is as good as most, and his average with the bat is higher than quite a few of them too.
