oafcprozac
SMS Winger Joe Colbeck from Bradford, should have happened in pre-season...undisclosed fee - some of the Eards money. Scored some beauts for the Bantams and a former Darlo loanee where DP played him up front, but finally a wide option... BucksBlue
http://www.bradfordcityfc.co.uk/page/Profi...6~30977,00.html Their web master must have a crystal ball, because he says "in October 2009 he broke a bone in his foot ruling him out until the start of the following year" I hope we did buy another crock! danoafc
an undisclosed fee! wey hey! well i never thought that would happen! I thought their site said he rejected a contract in the summer and was ona week to week contract? How an 'undisclosed fee' in that case? Edit - or is he under 24? shefflatic
Great so still only two centre backs. JUST CHILL!! DP will know we need another CB, but for the next week we will probably be ok, i'm sure he has had targets but has probably had to wait before other teams decide which players can leave. :censored: and Holdsowrth can play there if needed so it's not THAT immidiate that we need someone in, although yes i agree we do need a 3rd CB in. in DP we trust! He KNOWS what he is doing!

Bring Back Ronnie Moore
Bradford fans seemed as though they wanted rid! From what I can gather from their fans he's like Eardley, a promising young player who is hounded by boo boys. But like Eardley he's stuck up a finger to these boo boys by moving up a league and proving them wrong. rudemedic
Great so still only two centre backs. Exactly- we have 4 wide midfielders (Taylor, Smalley, Steer and its apparently Purdie's best position too), plus Holdsworth, Parker, Whitts, Lee and some others, why do we need another winger permanently when that's the one position we have some real squad depth for this level. I'm not saying he won't be a bad buy for us I'm just questioning the logic of spending some money on a player who plays in a position we have some depth when we are crying out for some depth elsewhere

oafcprozac
He's like Eardley?! Feckin booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!! When LaticsWorld was around, watched some of his goals - scored some belting pile-drivers and looks quite quick. JUst what we need, we've lacked width all season. Oh and he was sent off at Valley Parade against us in April 2007.
rudemedic
He won player of the year for them not that long ago (but so did Warney and Allot for us and they ain't here anymore) and Penney had him on loan for a period and he was only recalled due to injuries by the sound of things. I'm not saying he won't be a bad buy for us I'm just questioning the logic of spending some money on a player who plays in a position we have some depth when we are crying out for some depth elsewhere Because he is, in case you havent noticed, in the process of weeding out the dross that is in our squad (in his opinion) O'Grady Alessandra (ok maybe be a gebuine need for games and DP may well rate him) Lee (told he can go) Gilbert/kaz/byfield all not good enough long term. we do need another wide player, smalley could be 3months out, purdie can play anywhere (literally, darlo fans say he is good wherever he plays) we only have taylor as a real winger, parker is better up top and lee is more of a CM than winger so i can fully see why hes brought Colbeck in. It all seems messy at the moment with players in and out but he did say it will be toing and froing for a while. Give him time, i can see what he is doing/why he is doing things, maybe some cant
