The longer you have to wait, the better if you weren't at BP. Would be a shame to spoil Saturday night by watching last night's events. So many times when Hartlepool looked like scoring and got through our back line far too easily. Free kick wasn't Brill's fault. It was inch perfect top corner. Yes it was. No it wasnt inch perfect in the top corner. It went slightly too his left - but still in the middle. No keeper should be getting beat from a 35 yard free kick that lands in that position. It was his fault that he couldnt see because he was stood directly behind the wall that he'd set up. Just look how many blue shirts the ball flies past before it goes in the net. Six or so. It was inch perfect top corner. well i agree it wasnt BUT his possition was he might have had a better chance if he was more centre of the goal instead standing near the left post giving the guy lots of net to shoot at, he did exactly the same last week when a team scored a freekick against us and also did exactly the same on hartlepools secound freekick. he just doesnt learn Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
