BP1960
Confused, I thought so; According to the report below Joel Bembo-Leta was a real handful against Altrincham in the F.A Youth Cup. I notice Fabio Bembo-Leta also played. So if Djeny turns out for Latics we could see 3 Bembo-Leta's on the pitch when Latics face Stalybridge in the next round. If so I look forward to Gordon's commentary should the match on Monday November 9th (7.30pm) be covered on Latics Player. Bembo-Leta shines
Bring Back Ronnie Moore
Which is the best?
BP1960
Which is the best? As Djeny is still with Latics I assume him, but mistakes have been made before in releasing young players.

Apart from the obvious Micah Richards which others spring to mind?
Senor_Coconut
Apart from the obvious Micah Richards which others spring to mind? Will Buckley at Rochdale is very highly rated, Andrew Driver (although I think his family moved rather than being released).
ritchie82
Apart from the obvious Micah Richards which others spring to mind? Micah left us, big difference. Bit like suggesting Barca were daft to release Cesc Fabregas.
ritchie82
Andrew Driver (although I think his family moved rather than being released). Who will be moving to Portsmouth once their transfer ban is lifted.

Nowt like that suggestion at all.........though him leaving us is till classed as 'letting him go' - ie we couldn't keep him. Driver moved away......i was just wondering how many more.. OldhamSheridan
Who will be moving to Portsmouth once their transfer ban is lifted. Where's this come from? I've heard the Everton rumour before (but they balked at the £4M asking price by all accounts).

futchers briefs
Scott Spencer did well for himself after he left although he was bought we didnt release him That was kinda my point really, quite a lot of the youngsters that we have released, sold, had nicked off us etc, don't seem to have got further than hyde, stalybridge and lower league football. Obviously there will be 1 or 2 exceptions to that.
