penrhyn
We will probably end up playing what is effectively a County reserve side if the game goes ahead which even now is very doubtful. County have lost the last eleven games and have just sold Baker to Coventry, Johnson to Norwich, and let Peter Thompson return to Ireland. They did hire heaters and balloon to melt the ice for the Leeds game over Christmas so with slightly warmer temperatures expected, the game may be on? Yeah, they are a much weakened side but we cannot underestimate them, what with local derby and so on, but if we go on the attack from the off and lay siege to their goal...? jsslatic
Eleven consecutive defeats, half the team sold, another player suspended. I'll go for 0-0...maybe 1-0 to us if we get a penalty, maybe 1-0 to them if they get a free kick within thirty yards of goal.
shefflatic
temperature warming up in the week, 2's and 3's, a 5 expected on friday. Snow off and a bit of thawing out with heaters etc and we MAY be on............

Takemeanywhere
The latest from the Stockport website: http://www.stockportcounty.com/page/Latest...1928913,00.html They might as well just have said "It'll be dark before morning." Forecast is after a little wet snow tomorrow/Wed, temperatures will keep on rising, reaching 6-8C on Friday night. I'd be annoyed if the groundstaff can't get the pitch and the surroundings ready by kick-off

Forte_Baby
Some of us can't wait to be given the opportunity to get behind the team and see if the playersy can produce against eleven men what they did in that last half hour against Colchester. We're in a relegation battle and a financial black hole. The Club is desperate for support home and away. When the going gets tough..... To be fair Diego i have started to enjoy away games more when there is just a few 150-300 so off our fans.
oldhamains
The way they are talking on here Stock player: http://www.stockportcounty.com/articles/wa...31437~1,00.html I don't think they will be pulling there weight to get the game on. Doesn't look like they can even field eleven players.

shefflatic
utter joke with the pitch insepection tomorrow! temperatures are going to get as high as 4 in stockport tomorrow and only low as 1 overnight, up to 4 or 5 by 3pm saturday = thaw of pitch and playable surely?? quite obviously stockport have made no effort to get the game on. Due to be 0 overnight and they know that if they call an inspection tomorrow morning instead of saturday morning the pitch wont have been given time to thaw = still frozen at 11am tomorrow = game off!! no players or not = DISGUSTING!!!! They're not bothered about the result. Why the hell are they having a pitch inspection tomorrow morning, when the game isn't until Sat afternoon and the Oldham team and fans don't have that long a journey to Stockport. According to their main message board the pitch is hard as a rock and there is no chance the game will be on.
Hometownclub
By calling the inspection tomorrow it really smacks of Stockport not wanting the game to go ahead, as they are not giving the pitch every chance of being playable given the weather forecast over the next couple of days. Not playable tomorrow could very well be playable Saturday.
