opinions4u
It seems that I've bought braising steak in error, which takes nearly 3 hours to cook in the oven. The plan was to spend a swift half hour doing tea! If I shallow fry it, will it be edible, or am I best chucking it back in the fridge and getting a pizza delivered? Might be a bit late by now, but Mrs. Sideburns says the pizza is your best option. P.S. I thought it was an hour later - must get a little hand on this watch! opinions4u
Pizza consumed. The Aussie wine I found in the fridge for that recipe is superb! Shame I have to waste 425ml of it in the cooking.

opinions4u
Red wine in the fridge? Yuk No idea why I typed fridge. I meant wine cellar! (or that narrow little cupboard at the end of the kitchen units, next to the back door, to be more accurate!).

opinions4u
Easy does it ....................... The eldest loved it. The youngest wasn't keen. The meat was extraordinarily tender, but I think I overdid the wine a little which is a shame, as I could have drunk more of it last night. Cheers for saving me from chucking £5 worth of meat away.
