oafc0000
Sense prevails according to the poll... Maybe so... But it would be foolish to ignore that 30% are that pissed off with things and another 20% are not far off being that pissed...

Foolish only if they attend games .. and of course if they knew what they were protesting against. Otherwise ignoring them would be a shrewd move by the Club. Forte_Baby
Simples... Voting with your feet wont make much difference unless our crowds drop to around the 1000 mark. The club know there will laways be 2000 or so fans who come week in week out. A few hundred souls wil lnot make much difference and the fact despite the performances on the pitch the club can hide behind the credit crunch and lack of local away games for poor attendences. Oh Heck C-Beck
I ask again what is this protest actually about? what's the desired outcome. I was protesting like there was no tomorrow when it was marching for the planning permission...there was a clear outcome desired for a worthy cause. Is this just a protest because we are ? If its about how the club was run surely are you going to keep protesting even if by some miracle we start moving up into a lofty league position? (hypothetical i know but it could happen)

Or is there a posability that there are several hundred others (who go or have stopped going due to team tactics and other reasons) who would be more than willing to protest. And if it is several hundred the club cant afford to ignore that.

Interesting that!...Roll back a year or so and that highlighted sentence was being said as.... "unless our crowds drop to around the 2000 mark. The club know there will always be 3000 or so fans who come week in week out"
