Wardie
Pity the Brentford fans if it is called off...knowing Latics' luck, it will be. I assume it's the bit down near the main stand that's not getting any Sun on it.

RobOAFC
Will go ahead, my back garden gets no sun on it, but is fine to play on, and it is not that cold today,

opinions4u
If the goal areas thaw out, but the lino's run in front of the main stand is still frozen, is there anything to stop both lino's running down the same side of the pitch? Additional thought to TTA: If it's the shadow of the stands causing the problems, knock them all down!

How would that work, for simple things like throw-ins for e.g.

andyhusky
The goal areas aren't going to get that much action anyway, going off the past few games
RobOAFC
How would that work, for simple things like throw-ins for e.g. Lino on same side as pitch, each covering half of pitch, fourth official can judge for throw ins along the main stand side? opinions4u
How would that work, for simple things like throw-ins for e.g. Most linos just look towards the ref anyway, and then stick their flag up when they know which way he's giving it! Additionally, refs usually run diagonally from corner to corner, to cover the side of the pitch where the lino isn't. The ref could easily keep his general whereabouts down the side of the pitch where there's no lino and make the calls from there. It's certainly something that could be done. Whether the rules allow it or not, I have no idea.
