stebuzz
after looking at the highlights on bbc, between stockport and brentford in our division. lots of sand on those two. football wise. gilingham and wycombe looked awful and perhaps have gone. which is good news for us. at orient v brighton. mistakes by both goalkeepers led to the 1-1 scoreline. fleetwood Blue
Burys pitch is normally bad towards this time of year, Blackpool normally aswell I remember a few years back when Old Trafford used to be the worst pitch in the top flight, it was ofter knackered by November
Diego_Sideburns
I remember a few years back when Old Trafford used to be the worst pitch in the top flight, it was ofter knackered by November Villa Park used to be in a terrible condition and covered in sand, which was coloured green to look better. The old pitch was soil-based so it was easier to grow grass into the soil, but it led to all the problems. Now the pitch is 99.9% sand-based and grass is grown in the sand using fertilisers and ultra-violet lights.
