Ernie For England
Does anyone know what the (serious) odds are of us winning our next 3 games against colchester, leeds and norwich? I'm thinking of putting a few cheeky quid on it. And no, i haven't been drinking

I'm thinking of putting a few cheeky quid on it. And no, i haven't been drinking I was thinking along similar lines although alittle less ambitious. For example, the odds for us to stay undeafeted for the next 3 games. Maybe we'll get decent odds considering we're playing the top 3. jsslatic
Not sure but we're 5/1 to beat Colchester, so I'm guessing we're similar odds on the other two. Looking at about 125/1 then I guess...

jsslatic
I'd want at least 30/1 on 3 wins!! 125/1 what school did you go to? Would it not be? I always thought 'AND = times' and 'OR = plus' in terms of probability, so as it has to be WIN AND WIN AND WIN it would therefore mean 5 x 5 x 5 =125/1. Expanded, if you were to do an accumulator it would surely be: Colchester: £1 at 5/1 = £5 (plus stake) Leeds: £5 at 5/1 = £25 (plus stake) Norwich: £25 at 5/1 = £125 (plus stake) Edited February 19, 2010 by jsslatic

opinions4u
If we're 5/1 for each of the three games then the odds are 215/1 £1 x 5/1 = £6 £6 x 5/1 = £36 £36 x 5/1 = £

I'd be staggered if we were anywhere near 5/1 at home to Norwich. 2s at best. On a related note, Mike Holden tips us away at Colchester this weekend in the Sporting Life's betting zone. eyres_28
UNDEFEATED Colchester are 1.75 betfair so lay to lose £5 = £11.66 return Leeds will be around 1.7 max. so lay to lose £11.66 = £28.32 return Norwich will be around 2.2 i expect so lay to lose £28.32 = £ 51.92 return on £5 9/1 ish

dfOAFC
i've backed 0-1 and 0-2 tomorrow. would prefer 0-2 at 33-
opinions4u
I'd be staggered if we were anywhere near 5/1 at home to Norwich. 2s at best. I was merely quoting numbers provided in an earlier post. Not forecasting what the odds would be. I suspect we'll be longer than 5/1 at Leeds but, as you suggest, closer to the 9/4 mark next week.
