A driver can't fail to notice a shunt, can they?

rudemedic
Its even more frightening if you travel up and down that stretch of the motorway as often as I do (in fact I may have actually seen the aftermaft- it depends on the day). What I don't get is this happened in January but since it got put on YouTube it has started to be investigated- did the woman not report having the side of car done in at 60mph by someone in a lorry- I know I would have done? Something dodgy is going on for me.
OldhamSheridan
Having not been a truck driver I have no idea myself if clipping someone onto your front bumper would make much of an impact. You'd think it would, but it's a great big tanker and a diddy little car. The level of the car seems fairly low visually though and there won't be much to see there. I guess the strangest thing is the car's direction. To be clipped there more than likely she's either undercut him and tried to jump in front - or joined the carriageway incorrectly. Might be why nothing happened earlier if it was her fault.
BlueJazzer
Ive done a fair bit of driving and u would definitely notice it. A shunt up the rear is more likely to go unnoticed (ooer). I've turned out to a few incidents like that over the years.
