smartzatart
So what's it to be??? Given the choice, England to lift the World Cup but Oldham get relegated or we stay up and England get stuffed by the Germans in the last minute of injury time by a dubious penalty call!!! I'd rather be playing Rochdale next season than crowing to my Jock mates for another 50 odd years!!
BlueArmy1989
Latics to stay up then think about england we have another chance in 4 years but if latics go down we wont come back
oafcprozac
no contest, Latics to stay up. Relegation would be a disaster. England flatter to deceive and will lose to Australia (if not Australia - Germany) in the 2nd round mark my words...

leeslover
Stay up without a doubt, and crowing to jock friends should never stop! It's not like the Jocks have much to boast about anyway. The England team is like the worst aspects of the Premiership condensed into one serving. Screw them.
OldhamSheridan
Stay up. Not really that arsed about the world cup. The players aren't so why should I be? Not sure you can pick staying up either in that case. World Cup for me. Whatever happens with Latics we aren't ever going to be top of the club profession. England has that opportunity(ish). Plus I'll always be an England fan ahead of an Oldham one, not sure why - it's just so. I also don't think it would be that much of a disaster if the club went down. Hell, it happens to a whole bunch of teams every season and very few go out of business.
Bring Back Ronnie Moore
Love England, I really want us to win the WC and beat the Germans in the process. But Oldham to survive is more important.

porkpie_blue
I drove past Macclesfield FC on Monday - so the answer is Latics to survive without any shadow of doubt. It will be a depressing season if we are in L2

ritchie82
Only scallys and weirdo's follow England. Latics to survive every time. England win the world cup we have a week of joy but 12 months (probably more) of Latics being division 4. No thanks.
Oh Heck C-Beck
World Cup every time. I've came to terms with Oldham being :censored: ages ago, it is nice that the other team I support has a chance of winning the greatest competition in the World.
