Blue_Pizza
why, hartlepool friday night cold lost 3-0, tranmere cold tuesday night drew 0-0, brentford lost 3-2. hmm yeah think about it. Hartlepool was a Friday, and Tranmere was a Wednesday. These could have easily been played on Tuesday to give us 5 extra points, but no the football league are looking to f*ck us over in any given way, and not play them on a Tuesday. I'm just as p*ssed off with the whole situation as everyone else, at least we had enough Saturday games recently to stay up though.

Blue_Pizza
Don't get me started on how they blocked the Stephan McPhee loan from Blackpool, couldn't mention it at the time because of legal reasons, but i can assure during that dark goaless January, we was getting snubbed by the FL to. Ackey
Literally, part of the ritual was he refused to have any form of contact with the biscuit. Aside from of-course in his mouth. We used to take turns feeding him... Big Gordy lost the job after a somewhat predictable incident.
Blue_Pizza
Back on topic, be interested to hear other fans opinions about if they think the football league schdueleing has ruined our season, the Stevie McPhee debate is for another time. Ackey
There was actually a topic? Imagine if someone were to come along and move away from it - how frustrating that would prove to the original poster... food for thought, not :censored:, perhaps. Forte_Baby
Only just seen this thread now to think next season we could have far fewer local games than we have now if Huddersfield, Leeds go up Trannies go down with Stockport.
Blue_Pizza
Wrote a huge email this afternoon to them, complaining about the fixture list we got served up. Out of the current top 7, we've played 5! away from home on a Tuesday night. Millwall, Leeds, Huddersfield, Swindon, and Southampton. Now how before the season started could this have not been noticed, its hard enough playing them at the best of times, but in the dark of a night, after a long coach journey its going to make matters even worse. See what a bit of effort does, just received an email off them today. Only given us two tuesday night games this season, both local.

Its a randomly computer generated program which makes the results, they merely check it to make sure its in order. & the games on tuesday last season? yeah they was rescheduled due to bad weather etc.

singe
They remembered the email you had sent them in April and replied to you today. What did it say? if it takes 4 months to reply to an email, sounds like the problems are not the structure with Football league, being stiched up by the FA/Prem League, suitability of owners, debt etc, just not enough secratries... There's an almost unfathomable number of algorithms used and a guy who's job it is to monitor, ammend and so forth. The BBC did a very interesting article on it.
