Anyone but Gray but I'll opt for Gannon just ahead of Bunn.

We need a complete break from the Penney regime and Gray failed his "interview" last Saturday.

When do you think they will appoint as we need to be wheeling and dealing soon with players being released and pre-contacts being signed. Next season I reckon we'll be focusing on loans to strengthen so someone with contacts is a must. Gannon has developed some decent players in past tenures and may well be available for loan.

Did well at Bradford, superbly well at Wigan but was awful at Sheff Wed and Derby. That suggests he's better at smaller clubs but has always had decent budgets wherever he's been. Not sure what it is but summat tells me his appointment would be wrong.

Completely agree prozac.

Jewell is a rich mans Brian Talbot IMHO. Zilch experience on a budget.

He did well at Wigan, no problem with that, but Graeme sharp could have got Wiganm promoted with the funding Jewell had at Wigan....

What would anyones thoughts of Eddie Howe from Bournemouth be? Not that we have much chance of getting him as he is under contract at Bournemouth.

- Young hungry manager

- Saved bournemouth from the drop starting on -17 in his first full season in charge

- Finished 2nd in the league in his second season in charge

All on a budget tighter than a ducks arse

One of my team is a Bournemouth fan.

Not a chance.

He'll be onto bigger things.

It's all part of the team that are part experienced, part youth

He is very settled there don't think we will uproot.

He never spent a penny and night do a Joe and all he has every bought 3 emergency loans.

He ran the school of excellence for 16 yo, was sacked when Jimy Quinn came in. So he knew the players

it was done on the motivation of us against them.

He would be moving 200 miles to a smaller club ( in terns of attendance)

And a move to a rubbish stadium

Sideways move.

The concept could be applied though he has done superbly well.

As I said we probably don't have a chance in hell, but if we did, would people be happy with this appointment?

Definately from me!

Not sure it would bring the stay aways back, but I think mhe would give us a tremendous shot in the arm.

An equivalent for us would be Tony P or Dux, i think.

Again not one to get mass ticket sales, but onthat would improve the playing side steadily i feel.

Pointless question of the week. :icon_gay:

If we appointed Kenny Dalglish would people be happy with this appointment?
