jsslatic Posted May 9, 2010 Share Posted May 9, 2010 From games I saw live: Player of the season: Sean Gregan Young Player: Dale Stephens Goal of the season for: Blackman at Brentford Goal of the season against: Williams free kick for Huddersfield Best Opposition Player: Fon Williams on opening day was unbeatable Worst opposition player: Pattison (sp), the Southend striker at BP a couple of weeks ago Gaffe of the season - Brill vs Swindon, you could tell from the Chaddy he was going to shoot Funny moment - Heff hitting both posts and the bar at Wycombe. We were throwing the kitchen sink looking for a third and couldn't get it, by that point you couldn't help but laugh. Best fans performance - Norwich away Worst fans performance - Brentford was rather flat Best away fans - Norwich's locals were friendly, and the Charlton fans yesterday in the Clayton Green were a good bunch, hope they go up Worst away fans - None really, I normally find other sides' supporters to be friendly if you're friendly yourself Performance of the season Home: Southend for the first half alone, I can't remember us putting in a decent performance for both halves at all Performance of the season Away: Southend WORST HOME PERFORMANCE: Yesterday Worst Away Performance: Norwich Quote of the season: "We look forward to playing a Dave Penney side in the very near future" - club's official statement.
