Lookers_Carl
Gannon and Crossley now both joint 2nd favourites at 4/1, butt and gray joint 3rd fav at 7/1 http://www.victorchandler.com/vcbet/en-gb/...10976/2305006/
garcon
I wonder how many of those bets that have brought Mark Crossley in from nowhere to 4/1 were laid by, er, Mark Crossley?
Roger Ritchie
I wonder how many of those bets that have brought Mark Crossley in from nowhere to 4/1 were laid by, er, Mark Crossley? I know we are joking here but I'd be pretty worried about Crossley being our next manager when he has come from being unplaced to second favourite. singe
.'Super Caley go ballistic celtic are atrocious!' without doubt, the best headline ever written Thinking back to the charlton game Super Gray to go for it but Latics were a damp squib OK not quite the same, but you get the gist Maybe Super Gray to go for it, but Latics were just poseurs Edited May 20, 2010 by singe

Ackey
WHAT. THE. ?! I'm not much of a gambler, so apologies if I'm wrong... but does this kind of market not work on a very simplistic supply and demand cycle? So if people start backing Crossley then his odds will fall much more drastically than you'd see on a big open market such as a result between United and Liverpool because there's considerably less activity? Ye wouldn't take much to worry them. £50 or so. Then some will follow like sheep just because of the price.

Yeah thats true, but we saw on the same website last year, Penney come from nowhere to favorite. A short time later he was appointed! It all depends on who's puttin the bet on, my guess is its someone 'in the know' Edited May 20, 2010 by Gaz_Oafc

ritchie82
Still no Platt on there, interesting. No access to betting sites, is there a way to request odds on someone? I think its mentioned higher up. Could someone ask about Platt? I don't think the bookies have a clue and are just changing with the betting patterns. Expect another two front runners before we get an appointment. Nice to see the realistic appointment of Paul Scholes is still at 14/1, like thats going to happen.

Lee Sinnott
Ritchie, I've been thinking. If VC aren't giving odds on Platt, I will give you Odds on my "up and coming" betting agency, "Sinnott, Whitehall and Sons." Odds on Platt are 12/1. Minimum bet a fiver.
