Should it affect our chances of hosting the WC, imo NO, as it doesn't have anything to do with the logistics side to things on whether or not we are capable of being the host nation......Ffs SA have it this time! FIFA made sure Africa got one world cup so it could boast about being global and the ONLY country in Africa capable of hosting a world cup is SA (Egypt is close). One of the untold benefits of working in the Parking industry in an Arab country is that I can tell you that apparently Egypt had a very good chance of getting it until they realised that it was just going to be impossible for the numbers of people you would be talking about to move around without having to sit on traffic jams for 18 days, getting killed in road traffic accidents on at least 3 of them.
