latic12345
Back to the iPhone... I took mine off charge at 7:30 this morning, and at 7:30 this evening after a normal day's usage I'm on 82%. Can't complain about that. Really? Mine isnt that great. I'm getting about a day at the moment but I am very internet heavy as I dont have internet where I work at the moment. This has always been the worst thing for iPhone battery. I still get over 24 hours out of it and at the moment am using it as my main computer whilst staying in hotels etc... *cue porn jokes*

I do usually use it more for internet which like you say is the most battery-heavy task. Either way I'm happy with the battery.

outoftheblue
Hell yeah, OOTB could use Gaydar from anywhere then! What??? Pay £1.50 for the app, and an overpriced monthly data plan to utilise it?? Nah! I'll stick to my tried and tested format - Cottaging in Apple Stores (Never fails!)
outoftheblue
....I dont have internet where I work at the moment. Of course you do. It's the 'Cloud' network. There's leaflets available telling you how you can log on - they're usually somewhere around the counter where you refill the sauce, straws and napkins

outoftheblue
You forgot pick and mix... Bloody Hell! You have some weird McDonalds down in the smoke. Can you ask Ryan to pick up 6 nuggets, a McFlurry and a quarter of chocolate limes for me next time he's back up here?

dave_ragg1984
Got my iPhone 4 on Saturday....I walked past the O2 shop in town and there was a sign saying we have stock, so thought it would be rude not to. Cant seem to replicate the antenna problem on mine. Camera is miles better than the 3Gs and the HD camcorder is immense. The screen is sexual too. Very happy with it. Mine will receive its first full test this coming weekend when it's used as a SatNav to get me to Hull, as an iPod to entertain me on Friday night, a camera and camcorder on Saturday at one of my best mates wedding and then a SatNav to return me home. I will keep you informed

Their marketing is genius. They've screened off the shop. The screens have red curtains painted on and in the middle, they are slightly drawn with an Apple logo peeping out. When I walked past on Tuesday, everyone who was wlaking past stopped and looked...

Crusoe
Finally got mine yesterday. Everywhere had sold out except, randomly, one little O2 shop on Oxford Street, which had a dozen or so 32 GB models left. Took a while - and it was bizarre, they had a waiting room, and one woman having a near breakdown because a problem with her contract meant she couldn't get one - but up and running now. Haven't noticed the signal problem yet, am loving the crisp display (although there are a few apps that need to redo their icons).

pdw76
Does anyone else have a problem posting on OWTB from their iPhone with OS4? I have to switch off HTML editing to type anything at all. Am I doing something wrong as it is only this site? Edited July 22, 2010 by pdw76
Ackey
Does anyone else have a problem posting on OWTB from their iPhone with OS4? I have to switch off HTML editing to type anything at all. Am I doing something wrong as it is only this site? It's the IPB code. I've had a read into how to update OWTB but to be honest I'd want Rummy to do it and he just doesn't have the time. I have a friend who's very good with code who I may ask to over-see the upgrade, if I (and he) can find the time.
