oafcmetty
A one star rating, we only get the best, He reffed the 'Lewi hattrick' game against Scunny - a good omen!
Take That
Referee- Graham Salibury Assistant- S Clayton Assistant- D Handley 4th official- P Bankes Any thoughts? Oh my god please no. A truly awful ref. That puts a dampner on proceedings for me. Seen him ref so many times both in our matches and others. Tends to make Mr Bibby For those that don't know him he sent Shez and Pogs off at Vale a couple of years back when Taylor ended up in net) look like a decent ref. Tommy_Fent
I've heard of him before, which for a referee is never a good thing
oafckev
Anyone else think the referee had a belting match. Apart from the Hazell booking I thought he was decent - he let the game flow and stayed calm when Stephens retaliated late on in the match. daniel
im sure the tranpmere fans wont agree with that, i thought he had a good game for us today, but i thought he gave more 50/50's to us than them, nothing too major though, i agree about him letting the game flow, its what every fan wants to do and refs shouldnt be the centre of attention like a lot of them like to be
PlayItLivo
He gave us a few decision which should have gone to Tranmere. I won't complain though.
Latics_Fanatic
I think he had a good game although made 2 mistakes - The Hazell booking, shouldnt have booked him for that, they both had their feet in the air - When stephens was booked why wasnt their no.10? rosa
i thought the referee was crap, but he was consistently crap, which is often the best you can hope for at this level... -Moore was lucky to stay on the pitch (the tackle on Hazell was probably a yellow, and the little sh*t didn't shut up) -that tackle on Toukare in the second half looked like a penalty -it might not have been a corner for their goal -we had several corners/throw-ins that probably shouldn't have gone our way -he could have sent Stephens off (obviously i'm glad he didn't) Not a great performance but you couldn't accuse him of bias.
