I would have walked away - Corney

Got to agree with Rigsby

I read the article as this season is our swan song. Without investment next year its literally adios.

Depends what you mean by Adios.

If we can have a decent cup run, sell a player, or move a few on, in order to raise enough cash to get through to the end of the season, we are in a situation whereby we only have Black, Furman, Stephens, Taylor, Jones, Feeney contracted to the club, and in all honesty if we sell one or two of them, its likely to be less than that.

We will still be here, and we will probably still be in league 1, but re players wages there will be an almighty cull to the playing budget in order to bring it in line with our income.

So I think the Adios would apply to our league one status if there is no movement on failsworth or no investment in sight.

And who are the clubs major creditors? Oops.. the owners...

The real concern is that by the end of this season there will be a whole bunch of new creditors who aren't the owners.

Who is funding the current shortfall (caused by low crwods and big squad)? The bank? Corney?

If it's the bank administration is inevitable unless Failsworth and all the other sales of land linked to that are going to generate some sort of remarkable sum of money.

Now pint half full, this is a good think as they are less likely to put us into administration than a bank who wants it's loans repaying. IF they do put us into admin what do they get out of it?

Glass half full: The land in a seperate company.

Edit: Though as O4U said, there will be new creditors.

But, if they don't think they can get anything back, they can sling us into administration - accept 1p to the £1 - and practically wipe the debts (including those of the new creditors). They still get nothing, but aren't vilified for it.

And perhaps as main creditor they would have more power to do that, i.e. to accept 1p in the £1???

Speaking of administration, Dundee have been given a 50 50 chance of going under. A bunch of their players have had their contracts terminated, including Mikel Antoine Currier. Does this mean they can be snapped up outside of the transfer window if they are without a club?
