pukka
any news on how many have been sold? 1300 just over a week ago - any further update? Edited October 21, 2010 by pukka
3lions
does the lionel richie look a like still work in the Ratcliffe? He does but he dont like being called it so he wears a massive badge with his name Gary on to avoid confusion lol. On another note I wouldnt personally head for either the Healey or Albion as they are at least a 45 minute walk from the ground. Just head for the town centre but watch out for stolen Saabs if you on Packer street
3lions
The Dale Bar and The Ratcliffe Arms are the same place and can see them being home fans only for this game, I will check with the landlord (Pat who used to have the Clayton Arms) on Saturday and get back to you. I asked today and the answer I got is yes away fans are allowed but not big gangs of lads or owt. There will be bouncers on the door fo try and deter any undesirables
dave_ragg1984
I'd better work on the directions from all over the country to Royton Centre. Or you could say, "409 from top of Sheepfoot Lane." No need for directions to Sheepfoot Lane. Everyone on here should already know where it is.
davemathieson
Heading over for the match with my bird for her first ever match, and a couple of mates. It's my birthday on the 2nd. Where will most be drinking then, Ratcliffe Arms?? Back to my point sorry, but where is everyone heading? Cheers
slurms mckenzie
Just out of interest what would be the best real ale pub in Oldham these days?/ Ashton Arms? Agreed. Nowhere will ever measure up to the Beer Emporium though (RIP).

Although we've decided to stay in Royton anyway and have ordered a couple of minibuses for 7pm to take us straight to the ground.

PlayItLivo
The Council owned public Car Parks in Rochdale town centre are free after 3pm (OMBC take note!), that goes for the pay and display car parks and on street parking bays. If people don't mind walking up from town. http://www.rochdale.gov.uk/transport_and_s...ts/parking.aspx Edited November 1, 2010 by PlayItLivo

rudemedic
Did it before with Bury. End result - 'rioting' in Norden. I think it was more Heywood.
OldhamSheridan
I think it was more Heywood. Might have happened there too, but it's nigh on a daily occurance there. Certainly was going on in the village (Horse & Farrier), it made the Observer and everything. I would think trouble would be more around the outskirts in the Oldham direction this time though if they do it.
RochdaleAFC
I live near the Horse and Farrier and was just arriving home at about half 6 and there was a massive fight going on in the middle of Edenfield Road and people running off everywhere. Never seen as many police running around as I have that day.
