singe
bovis shirts galore I wonder what Rochdale's record number of away fans at Spotland is? Should be a cracking atmosphere.

singe
whatever FC United bring on Friday Although all the FC United will be watching it ont he TV surely? Had a quick look in the last 5 seasons, and the highest gate is 5,500 by bradford, so am sure that will be beaten tommorow Not being sniffy about it, we'd kill for gates of 5,500! EDIT Just seen your post Pukka Forgot to look at this season, doh, 6121 v Huddersfield. Edited November 1, 2010 by singe

We get gates over over 5,500 when the away following is in excess of 3,000.
Hometownclub
I'm really surprised we have managed to sell 3,200 tickets for an away game when home crowds are not much above that.
OldhamSheridan
I wonder what Rochdale's record number of away fans at Spotland is? Should be a cracking atmosphere. There used to be the annual taking over of Spotland by Burnley fans, who'd pretty much get three ends. I doubt we're anywhere near those types of crowds. c.hill12
interestin enough their highest attendance in 2008/09 was against us in carling cup. it was 5,786 so they ony have to get 2600 fans to beat that. Although i'm sure we took around 3000 then aswell
RochdaleAFC
The highest number of away fans in the last 10 years since the stand was built have been Coventry, Hartlepool and Huddersfield who all brought 3,200. We should be looking at our highest league crowd in 20 years tomorrow night.

We should be looking at our highest league crowd in 20 years tomorrow night. My mate who is a dale season ticket holder says that Bradford brought 8,000...... sorry thats what they claim. They are MAAASSSSIVE!!! Hopefully Dale fans will be out in force too. It would be great for the game to have 7500 there.

I'm sure for the cup game a couple of years back we sold 3200 tickets (like this time) and then there was pay on the day and we had 3400 in. RochdaleAFC
Can anyone remember whether it was reserved seating that night? I think there is no chance of letting anyone in tomorrow when it's unreserved seating, it would be chaos.

pukka
FCUM have sold all 3200 and have already asked for an extra 400 tickets for their Rochdale game. In fairness thats quite impressive. Edited November 1, 2010 by pukka
